Good thing that we have your expert opinion on the matter. This is an outrage. If it is God's will, the Revs will read this and remedy the situation posthaste.

Can't you please just go back to Valeo? Please? It's just a better fit for everyone.

What's the big deal? Every kid has at least one year of bad coaching in their lives, most have multiple years. If your kid is a good enough player, it won't sidetrack their development too much, and they'll catch up with their well coached peers quickly once they get back into a better developmental environment. Let the kid finish out the year and see what happens, you never know what other doors may open while playing for the Revs, even though the Revs staff themselves may be doing little to help your kid.

Depends on the player and the coach. Many kids can stick it out; others get too frustrated, down on themselves, etc. Sometimes it's better to bail out early before it spirals, particularly if the coach is simply a douche or has completely written off your kid. There's a high turnover rate in DA no matter what the club. Many who start at U12 or even U14 simply won't be there by U16.

The bail option is definitely the best, particularly for the smaller ones who can't play defence and whose expert moms think they've been unfairly positioned.

If you think about it, the Rev coaches aren't really developing their own model strategically. If you have a few chosen ones, then you want the best players around the Kings and Queens to develop them. The team also should do well to draw scouts. However, if the support players aren't happy and start to leave, the coaches are stuck with less skilled and less athletic players to fill in the voids. If the Revs were smart, they would pretend that all the boys are equal and that each and everyone is talented and that each one has a chance to make it to the pro's.
As a strategist, that is the way I treat my employees. I give them each a stake. Their investment of the time and sweat into MY goals, helps them because collectively, they possess high morale but helps me most because my company is highly successful.
But the Revs would rather do it the other way.

You are not the brightest bulb. You have absolutely no leverage. That's the system you joined and the Revs designed it that way. You don't matter. Period. They are not that impressed with your kid? Tough. He can be replaced in two seconds.
