That is not so funny. Everybody knows, in the soccer world, 1:6 for the 11v11 football game is pretty bad loss.
And who the hell is this Claudio Reyna guy, never heard of him. Even he is good player, why does his son have to be a good player as well? Do you know where Maradona's son plays?
"Stop being an ignorant American casual soccer fan" as if you are speaking to yourself.

Claudio Reyna's son Giovanni '02 plays for NYCFC and many many other elite players. I love when people look at results and make ridiculous statements. Focus on your kid's NPL/Maple or whatever cash grab league he plays in and stop being well, an ignorant American casual soccer fan.

How many players have passed through the Revs academy? Hundred's and hundred's and what do the Revs have to show for it. 2 players. Pretty low success rate for an organization that gets the top talent from a large area. Seems the organization actually isn't too good at 'development'.

Part of the landscape in this country.

I'm sure we'd see a lot more homegrown contracts if these players had a couple more years in the system and could closely train with the first team to see where they might best fit in. They seem to be using the Rhinos to further develop kids that have already had a few years of stunted development in college, and not players that have come from their own academy. The current system will not lead to more homegrown players and is wasting the time and resources put into the academy players.

I agree with the earlier post that they've played 2 games, they're a new team, give em time. But ranting that someone doesn't know anything because they don't buy the excuse that Reyna's son was playing just makes you look small minded.

That said, even with a player like George Weah, who was at a time the best footballer in the world, or Maradona one of the best of all time it is no guarantee of anything. He never said anything bad about Weah's son, on the contrary he said that even though the Revs played against him a few years back, they didn't lose 6-1.
