Six 00s saw action in this game:

In fact, after looking at those game reports, I will raise my estimate to 9 00s who saw at least some U16 action for the Revs last year.
Seeing some action is different than meaningful action. But yes some did and it makes sense since they'll play at that level this year - test the waters. But unless the U18's have several waiver kids there's no way they'd move up more than a few 00s. Some aren't even 15 yet.

Should be interesting. The Rev's will smoke the Bolts. The Revs have a great lineup from the goalie to strikers. No contest. The Revs will maintain possession and just keep feeding the ball to the forwards.

As yourself why the Revs only carry 15 U18 players? Revs are probably the youngest teams in each age brackets. They are not too much concern about the W's although it is nice from a competitive stand point. For them if they can get 1 home grown players out of each class that is all that matter. Keep an eye on the U16 players playing U18 this season. One of those player will be the next home grown player I bet.

          Which one?

Well, which one will it be? Calvin, Jones, Justin?

Both bolts and gps can easily beat revs u16. Without the three players playing up of course

'Next home grown player' to do what? Sit on an MLS bench? Or be on the field in an MLS game yet effectively still be on the bench?

Sorry to burst some bubble here, but the Revs have only one potential impact player in their entire current academy. And as of right now, 8/5/15, he's still only 14.

What are the specific birthdate cut offs (U14, U16, U18) for the academy system this year? Thank you.

Thanks dad! I knew I was better than everyone else, even the older boys called up to NT!

It goes by year. So this year the u16 boys will be 99's and 2000's and maybe younger. The 98's are now u18 with the 97's.

Please dont take the bait. Its either an idiot who really thinks this is true or a troll just stirring the pot. I think a troll. If GPS won the NPL then i would say differently but you got smoked. Clearly out of your league.

The GK is also a 99 and he, along with the forward in the bunch, has been training with the Revs first team.

Spot on. He is arguably the most skilled player in the club.
