BS as you so eloquently describe him, won an award as coach of the year and his U16 team reached the finals. Looks like they are doing things right, don't you think?
"doing things right"- no -there are several threads here about the cronyism and nepotism that goes on there. They are doing well because well (take a guess),- IT'S FREE. Second GH is a good coach and very much underrated by USSDA. BS rides on his coattails and because of BS' connections with Lepore et al, guess who keeps his job and gets the award for coach of the year? Therefore they can find players who can win tournaments for them despite the small subset of politically connected players

Do you get chest pains a lot? Carrying this around inside of you(because you're afraid to express it anywhere other than on an anonymous forum of malcontents) all the time has to be exhausting.

MLS mandates that all their Academy teams be full funded. So what does that mean? Revs had a very successful USSDA 2014/2015 year and other MLS youth teams, not so much. "Free" can take you so far, the coaching, training and club philosophy will get you success.

uh nope. Only MLS teams made it to the semis in both age groups- shows what FREE will get you. U18 revs didn't do too well only U16s - all GH's selections not BS. At these age groups, it's about the players more than the coaching. All the playmaking U14 players came in already developed by another club.

well duh yeah of course they already come in developed...they are 14.....this isnt their first year playing soccer. The academy programs will all do this unless they have a "pre-academy" program and even then they will go ut and find the best they can

The Revs U14 style of play is very robotic to enforce this "style of play" that USSDA likes. It doesn't work with the better teams as they found out in the showcase. No creativity. Each player is expected to have only a few options to try - anything else is frowned upon.

Right, you want the MLS teams to grab players right from the birthing room? What nonsense!!

The overgeneralization of the day. Private club players are not robotic?

Really? The organization has reached the MLS finals 4 times. Robotic? Ok, we'll take it.
Caldwell, Fagundez, Tierney, Max-Moore, Herivaux...etc. many many more New England players on the horizon or playing USL or abroad.

Philadelphia Union won the U16 championship. At the pro level? not a damn thing.

It's happening. MLS Commish Don Garber tweeted this morning that he has seen the renderings of the Revs new stadium on Frontage Road in Southie. (Widett Circle). Gonna happen.

Mr. etc must be a heck of a player because the rest exemplify mediocrity. Without Jones , the Revs are awful. And they had nothing to do with his (unorthodox) ability.
