Revs U16 national team call up

As reported in Boston Globe today, MA boys soccer has reason to be proud. Three revs players called up to the U16 national team for match against Netherlands and one player to the U15 national team camp. Been a long time, if ever that MA was so well represented on a national level. Congratulations to these players.

Congratulations and good luck to these players! This accomplishment represents a great deal of hard work and sacrifice by both the players and their parents. Well done!

Good for them, and good for the Revs. But two of the three U16s called to the NT are from CT, not from MA.

The U16 from MA just spent a week with the first team out in Arizona. MA represented.

And coaches. Refutes the notion that the MA boys side lags behind the girls. This doesn't happen unless they are playing high level competition and younger ages. Curious what clubs these boys played for previously...

Interesting that two CT players who could play more conveniently at OW DAP come all the way up to Foxboro. That really is a commitment and a gutsy call on their part. Clearly they are very talented. Job well done to all!

                    REv 16

First Congrats to all who got called up. Its a long process for that to happen. Good luck to them. YOu can see that tow from Ct on the revs got called up. That goes to show you were CT soccer is going. There a a few players on NYSC also from Ct. Connecticut DAP teams need some work.

You are probably right since Revs don't have a U13 team. Dumbass!
