In U13 The two NU players are a serious upgrade, also a new Blazers midfielder. In U12 the 2 NU players are even better.

How fast do the fingers start pointing between original Valeo parents and old NU parents the minute something doesn't go as planned on Valeo U12? Poor EW has to go 40-0 this year or he's going to have his hands full managing those goof balls.

EDP FALL CUP. Jab at WUP? why? I like WUP. But there are 8 teams on the accepted list that are ranked higher then WUP. If the top flight= 2brackets x 4 teams each, WUP is the first candidate to be dropped down. Although Valeo is currently plays in the 2nd EDP division and that may lower their flight placement in tournament. Playing in Diamond Flight will be a tremendous experience for the team, win or no-win, never mind points. Playing in Gold ? Is it worth a trip for teams like Valeo or WUP? Let's see what happens. Either way good luck to both teams!

Defending champion of the 8v8 bracket probably won't help WUP much because the top teams were playing in the 11v11 group last fall. But even if WUP or Valeo are placed in the second bracket, it will be loaded: 13 teams in top 20 R1 and some very strong teams that aren't: Bethesda Blue #2 MD, #3 from VA, plus #1 Cleveland from R2. That's 16 teams. Even second bracket will be strong than any MA tournament this year.

1. Bethesda Blue is #30 R1. A few You can find a few MA teams of that level.
2. the count of 13 teams already includes Cleveland, the R2 team. They will be in the top flight. don't count them twice please.
3. Virginia is not a great soccer standard. The top VA teams would be quite average in MA.
4. I'm not denying, there will be decent selection of teams in the second flight as well. And you're right in the best teams in MA are hardly ever meet in one tournament. My question was: if you knew your team would be in the second flight and would not face the best anyway, would you still pick this trip over the holiday weekend with family?
