Valeo has 2 U11 teams in top ten in MA. One is 4th.

No points for league play.

GPS is third and received 3500 points for coming in fifth in NEP. So I would knock them down to several spots. Scorpions are fifth, pitiful status from losing most games.

So back to three top teams at the gate for U12.

WUP and NEFC are both in NEP and could see each other more but only if both opt for 11 v 11 U13. Did both teams improve or at least find 6 additional player better or equal to the current team members?

Well someone already said that NEFC Central will be at Stars. Valeo's second U12 team will be playing in Stars 11 v 11.

I wonder if some will go to Aztecs for the higher points awarded last year? Probably not going to happen again--the higher points I mean.

Actually, no one said it was Valeo second team. Why are people asking about a pre season tournament in winter or even Labor day 2015.

My guess is that the Stars 11 v 11 games might be interesting simply because most teams (with the exception of Valeo) might get a few practice session in before they play. I would consider it a very organized "friendly"

NEFC preseason August tournament. That one will be more like friendlies. Stars is the real deal.

I highly doubt Valeo's second team going to NJ while the firsr team plays Stars.

You are correct, I forgot about the new NEFC "money grab" Preseason. I doubt that most of the U12 teams will be very sharp at 11 v 11, with the exception of Valeo

As long as a team has decent players, they will be sharp enough.

Just curious -- at your town, does each team have a different color jersey? Are they the same color each week?

I only ask because another thing I noticed about Natick is that everyone has the same shirt. They are reversible, blue and white. If the game gets lopsided some players are swapped.

It is hard to make the game personal when your child is not really on a team.

Yep - U6-U8 town program... academy-style training, reversible game shirts, parents yelling at their kids, coaches yelling at youth referees.
To be clear, it's not all the time, but even once is too much at these ages.
