More like wildly inconsistent. They beat Valeo/NU in Needham on PK's but were then dusted by GPS in finals...got by WUP in NEP semis only to get cracked by NEFC in finals. They're on the small side and can be pushed around but have a few decent kids. Not a top end team.

Not that it matters but you're mistaken regarding Aztec. They had their U11 team from the regular season with one U10 called up.

Let them play!!! And we'll advice them what surface to play on. I posted a link to LRT (grass) results which speaks for itself. Again, not mad though it was very funny for someone to offer advice to play on more grass after that tournament but certainly understand the "thanks but boys did fine on grass" response which sent you into a rage. At any rate, I am sorry to tell you that we are going to have to go in a different direction for the position of TS etiquette cop.

Not that it matters but you're mistaken regarding Aztec. They had their U11 team from the regular season with one U10 called up.

No, Aztecs was in U12 in GotSoccer for the tournament. The team automatically gets into the appropriate age group when the roster is updated. So you did have U12's.

I think the Aztecs and Valeo/NU can agree on one thing--thank god we didn't win! The VW tournament looked like a complete waste of time (and money) with only 6 teams showing up, two of them U11 teams. It was not even a GotSoccer event! :)

Valeo can't even afford to pay tournament fees and they have teams that no show at tournament games.

The thing about Valeo is that you can join the club and never pay. They will never catch up to you because the admin is too busy watching his kid and EW is coaching U12 so the books are never balanced.

They are probably out a ton of money.
