The better u12 NEP have decided that level of 'Premeir' competition is a waist of time and are also playing up.
I'm not even sure that last years u12s that are now in Premier are all that impressive. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that either WUP or NEFC will win that group.

That may be true but FCMass 13 is surely a lot better than FCMass u11 which is the team in your league group. Your u12 Premeirship is about the same as Maple u12 blue, probably even weaker. Maple u13 is comparitvely stronger, on a par with u13 NPL. So it really doesn't make any sense for you to be bashing the competition that Valeo u12 will be playing, more than year advanced than your NEP team and even two years with some teams such as FCMass. A year plus is quite appropriate.

Perhaps you don't read too well. I don't believe I mentioned Valeo in my post. I don't watch as much u12 soccer as you do but clearly you know the strong versus the weak teams in two age groups.

Does the NPL allow townie teams into their league like Maple U13 Blue does? You, sir, are a crackpot. I hope you lose to the town team because they are so strong and in an elite division just like you.

Sorry to burst your pompous NEP bubble but anyone can simply view the results of tournaments to see that the current top Maple u13 teams more than held their own against these supposed NPL powerhouses.

Your thesis is that Maple U13 Blue is similar or better than U13 NPL. Maple has a town team in that division. That doesn't exactly bolster your argument. Care to respond to that?

As the resident know it all Maple fan boy why don't you provide some links. I know NEP is a better situation and don't really feel the need to chase my tail proving it to someone that is forced to play in a town league.

                  First it's a lie.
Second if town team can beat an NPL team I wouldn't mind having it around. But again, don't trust everything you hear. Do your homework at least sometimes

A number of the NPL teams have never played a game before, and others have never played an 11v11 match, so this simply isn't true. Regardless, we shall soon see whether the premise that Maple U13 Blue = NPL U13 has any merit: the top two MAPLE BU13 teams from the spring (Blazers and PTUSA) are in the same Stars Cup BU13 Bracket as a significant number of the NPL teams. Those results may be interesting.

There are four Maple blue teams (Blazers, PTUSA, Valeo, Explosion) that have been pretty evenly matched over the last year playing 11v11. They can certainly hold their own against any NPL team, and would expect World Cup, Strikers and possibly Rams also. Don't buy the NPL cool aid, repackaged NEP that's all.

Maybe, maybe not. I agree with the above poster--lets see what happens on Labor Day when the top two MAPLE teams--Blazers and PTUSA--play some NPL teams in some actual matches. As noted above, some of these NPL teams have never played a match--so there's no basis to conclude anything either way.

Oh that is right. Should be interesting! However, I did hear some of the Blazer's players left. Is that true?

That U13 GPS NPL team has already racked up some GotSoccer points, including for 11 v 11.
