2014-2015 Boys U12 Best Teams

Last summer (2103), when Newton United won their stupid summer slam tournament, a coach went on here to take credit for NU's win and then posted all the camps and teams the NU kids (specifically the twins) were on! To stop the fuss, NU had to compliment the role that MPS had in their players' development at age 7-8.

I love this thread - still several pages from catching up.

I think people are allowed to post initials and general comments about nameless kids/parents when the team they used to play for (NU) put the players' names on their uniforms.

Only club that I know of that does that.

Gotta get back to catching up to the last 20 pages.

With EW taking care of strategy on the field and others now doing the same off the field it is a good combination. All of this in a friendly small club atmosphere with TVs, Fusball and FIFA 2015 for the kids and coaches to play when the weather turns cold. What's not to like? By the way, Mc Megaclub parents that's a rhetorical question.

And some boys do homework or read. Glad there is a supervised warm safe place to drop off my child and not have to worry. Do you seriously think that this doesn't matter?

EW is very committed to helping under privileged soccer players. He has them come to Valeo anytime and provides food and tutors for them. Rides to games, etc. That way, it is not the just the boys who can pay who play.

Valeo will be #2 in top Maple division , NEFC will be #1 in third NEP division.

The outcome: NEFC will get a couple of hundreds points, Valeo will get a few thousands.

The gap will be even bigger.

I am not sure what happens to the team but the NU parents that go to the Rev's will say that Valeo's coaching was subpar and had nothing to do with their development.

Sure. NEFC played against a team that has given up 13 goals in its last four games and whose major strength is the phone call. Not sure Valeo has given up that many goals in its last forty matches. Congrats to NEFC on their impressive NEP div 2 performance.

Has anyone from Valeo wateche the NEFC u12s play this year? I know you are not interested, but if you have, could you comment on the quality of the team? Your comments would suggest some of you have. Have you watch WUP play?

Not NEFC. WUP has several good players but Swiss cheese and sloppy defense. Very good second tier R1 team but 4 or 5 players short oF being a real power and don't see where those players would come from (Valeo easily beat their only local rivals u13 team) NEFC obviously a notch above but remember those two and V and Valeo were on a par and Valeo also has added a couple players while NEFC stood pat and is playing weaker competition. Too bad NEFC was a no show in their own tourney. Significant gap but not as wide as WUP.

As stated before, our vision is no longer a state one but a R1 and National focus. Our record speaks for itself and the Massachusetts ranking will take care of itself if we perform outside the state borders. It's a shame that we need to leave the state for good competition but there isn't anything that we can do about that.

Give me a break. The club joined EDP and participated in a few tournaments to find good competition. It's no one's fault that the results are then calculated to generate a point system that is online for everyone to see. I suppose the club can rescind the GotSoccer points, but I don't think that is allowed. The tournament directors want the best teams to come pay and play. The higher the points the directors can advertise, the more they can charge and grow.

It's a system. It can be good and bad. However, to state that the players at this club are not devleoping *because* they've earned lots of points is ridiculous. The games will be played regardless.

Maybe but I haven't. I would like to see them though but schedules do not permit. WUP had a solid core but too many other players that did not gel well. Hopefully they will improve or upgrade.
