I saw some of my son's games against NU/Valeo myself. IMO, NU team played very different style from Valeo. And the 1st team's roster is limited. I am not surprised some of the NU kids would have a hard time in the new club and just leave.

Five very good players on the team, a few on second team. Several left in a huff in spring and so glad their parents are gone. The only team they come up is when they whine on this board!

Now why would you describe that they left in a huff. They left because they felt that this was not the appropriate step in their child development. This may or may not be correct.

Why are you so petty?

Also you had one of the Team 1 NU resign during the summer when he didn't fit in with the EW coaching style. Notice: no petty or snarky comment against Valeo, NU or the former players.

Usually takes them a week to post the points. Should get quite a few even though it was not the top division.

Self-promoting own-child pushers don't understand its about development, progress and persistence. No respectable team or coach is running after points to the detriment of the kids welfare and development in training (as you consistently claim on here). Your kids are hurt frequently because of the level and amount of the self-indulgence you seek. You did this to your own. Get a paid ad here for your kid if you need to promote him so bad but stop the obvious "pro" and "con" responses to get his number visible. No one (else) is looking at him (except to shake their heads).

Not the players but ego maniac parents who are still bitter, post crap here regularly. Several left because their child wasn't picked for VW tournament (incredible really?) and others didn't bring their kids to practice so a bit odd for no-shows to be complaining about coaching style. Very glad these parents are gone, agree that this was a bad fit.

Valeo has a long-standing and slightly mysterious network of ex players, including another Brazilian pro, who has brought several star players to the club over the years. Palhinho is a friend of his. The clincher was watching the boys train and hearing EW's philosophy.
