Johns Hopkins

Making plans for a tour and ID camp at Johns Hopkins and was wondering if anyone had kids who have played and/or gone to school there.

We have read many varying opinions on safety and being able to enjoy the city but would like hear from parents and athletes who have real experience.

My kid has grown up in the southern burbs but we have visited many of our great cities and she wants to go to a NE metro school.
