Will the numbers be greater than the forces were 2 years ago before these cities started defunding their police departments?...the 400 billion was a feckless dem attempt to say that it is Republicans who are trying to defund the police and everyone saw through their charade(except for you) so they have dropped it all together...just a sad attempt...you're better than that...
After you're done realizing that you're wrong, explain to us why not a single republican voted for a bill to hire more cops and pay more overtime to cops. Let's can an answer, not a deflection. Why didn't a single republican vote for it?

Originally posted by Unregistered View Postyour lack of comprehension skills is astounding...never said the $400 billion was going to only federal law enforcement but that the only responsibility that the federal government has is to fund them...any money from the federal government is extra for local departments...which brings us to the reason sleepy joe said they could use it for police hires and the reason you declined to answer the questions I posed...the biggest reason for the need to hire police to combat crime in these jurisdictions(no CA departments should be asking for money because gav told us crime has fallen there) is because of the defund the police movement which has caused many on the force to retire or quit leading to this great need for more police across the nation...a close second is the liberal DA's that are letting out dangerous criminals or just refusing to prosecute criminals in general...not a single Republican voted for it because of the largesse that was attached to the bill as well...come on dawg you can do better than that LOL
So I did answer the question. My post said that the funding was proposed because of rising crime rates due to numerous issues, many of which were caused by Covid. For instance, skyrocketing unemployment due to Trump's failure to contain it caused mostly blue collar people to lose their jobs, not to have money, have a lot of free time, and an incentive to commit crime. So again, I've answered your question.
BUT -- you FAILED to answer mine -- WHY DIDN'T A SINGLE REPUBLICAN VOTE FOR A BILL TO GET $350 BILLION (IT WAS ACTUALLY $350 AND NOT $400) TO STATE LAW ENFORCEMENT? Simple question that you have not even tried to address.

Osama didn't fly those planes into the World Trade Center but we know he instigated it and helped organize it -- while not even an elected official of any country. But you Trumpies somehow think that Trump deserves no blame. Real patriots you are.
Watching the grins of Trump supporters and even family members as it was unfolding demonstrated they were thrilled it was happening. That's as bad as being involved. It was a very dark day for America.

and it lasted 2 hours not 180+ days
as far as accepting election results- schiff called Trump a Russian Agent so not accepting results happened long before jan 6th
we all know what happened, it was not the best use of time, but dont make it out to be more than what it actually was

Schiff didn't call the election fraudulent - he said Russia interfered, which, again, they did. He didn't rally the troops, tell them to march on the capitol,"fight like hell"

They opened fire and wounded five members of Congress. No one was killed.
In a 1998 attack, an armed assailant stormed past a Capitol security checkpoint and killed one Capitol police officer. He then exchanged gunfire with a Capitol detective protecting a Congressperson and fatally wounded the detective. The exchange allowed other officers to subdue the assailant"

the Capital didnt fall
these hearings arent about finding the truth- everyone knows what the truth is
the government is too big too intrusive and too corrupt
just listen to your side when you arent in power- same bitching
everything done by the party in power is now done for political reasons-not the good of the country, so half of the people are pissed all of the time
these hearings are no different-political theatre for your amusement-thats it

Republicans are afraid of exposure. Why is that? Because they have something to hide.
If you're innocent why would you take the 5th? - DJ Trump
