The USA Population is about 331 billion people. So lets do some simple middle school math.

4,356/331,000,000 = .00001 (move the decimal over 2 remember libbys?) = 0.001% that you can be effected by Corona Virus.

79 deaths/4356 cases = .0181 (move the decimal over 2 remember libbys?) = 1.81% death rate if you got it!!!!

Lets stop it with all this BULLSH_T media and fake news.....With the above numbers you have a greater chance dying in a car accident on your way to the restaurant you are being told not to go to because of the corona virus!!!!!! Drink a MODELO and STFU!!!!!!
You should check your WHO numbers
7,087 cases in US. Not 4,356.
Or, that is how fast things are moving.

      Lol

      1) i am not "condemning" WHO (i like WHO), but its based in Geneva and the website does not update quickly (my opinion)

      2) CNN reported 112 US deaths this morning at 9:49, the 100 mark was announced by several news outlets, so the 79 deaths from WHO sounds dated

3l I have been using Worldometer. I am not sure that is the most accurate, but it seems to update a lot faster.

      4) go find a nice restaurant, have a few drinks. Everything is okay. God bless.

            Death cult

            From Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI)

“I’m not denying what a nasty disease COVID-19 can be, and how it’s obviously devastating to somewhere between 1 and 3.4 percent of the population,” said Johnson. “But that means 97 to 99 percent will get through this and develop immunities and will be able to move beyond this. But we don’t shut down our economy because tens of thousands of people die on the highways. It’s a risk we accept so we can move about. We don’t shut down our economies because tens of thousands of people die from the common flu.”

When pressed by reporter Craig Gilbert, Johnson acknowledged coronavirus is much more dangerous than the seasonal flu, but added that “getting coronavirus is not a death sentence except for maybe no more than 3.4 percent of our population [and] I think probably far less.”

The United States is estimated to have around 327 million people. Doing the math, if Johnson was correct, that would still mean COVID-19 could kill 11 million Americans if the entire population was infected. By contrast, fewer than 34,000 people died in motor vehicle accidents in 2018.

Where does he get the 3.4% of the population number? Nearly 1/3 of our population is >60 years of age and lord knows who many Americans have diabetes and obesity to ratchet up their risks

However, another way to look at it - take a mortality rate of 1% (which is what it is in South Korea where there's better testing) = 3.25M people die IF everyone got it.

Or look at Italian mortality rate.....

Sorry to disappoint you , but if you do not understand what the word “unprecedented “ means, I can’t help you.

Keep passing judgement in real time if it makes you feel better, however you will stay detached from reality. Intelligent and knowledgeable people understand that there are events and circumstances beyond what can be planned for.

Just like on Dec 7th, 1941.America wasn’t ready to fight a World War. We had to gear up for it. Back then , 17 year olds like my Father, and many other future fathers, and so many more that lost their lives, rushed to sign up to SUPPORT their country.Your contribution? Moan and complain.

So you may now go back to your comfortable couch and get your daily workout hitting what ever remote you have to follow your conditioning lesson.

There are le than 10 dead Americans from the virus. 7500 die every day in America from combined causes.

                  Don’t you feel foolish ?

Where did you see the word "unprecedented " in the post you responded to?

I bet your dad is real proud of you. I'm sure he fought for our freedoms, like speech and personal beliefs. People should be allowed and even encouraged to express themselves (and complain), even if you don't agree with their words or thoughts.

And why are you so smug and insulting?

Sometimes feeling foolish is good for the soul. Try it sometime.

Their false idols are crumbling all around them and their portfolios are trashed. They can't even get their numbers or words right. Expect more surliness.

That’s what the reality is right now. Unprecedented.

I never said you are not entitled to your opinion. I have just as much right to challenge it. It isn’t driven by smugness or to insult, it’s just common sense.

                              Drain the swamp?

After Blowing $4.5 Trillion on Share Buybacks, Airlines, Boeing, Many Other Culprits Want Taxpayer & Fed Bailouts of their Shareholders.

Chapter 11 bankruptcy that wipes out shareholders is the correct solution for collapsing share-buyback queens. US airlines already know this from experience. It works.

                                Another auto bailout???

Ford and General Motors are halting production at all North American plants through March 30, the companies confirmed today.

GM said production status would be reevaluated week-to-week after March 30.
