Learning facial cues happens at the younger ages and primarily at home where there isn't masking. You are vastly overstating the impact and also assuming kids can't learn once this has all passed

I am not overstating anything. The implantation of masking, mandates, procedures and other related measures ins unprecedented in American educational environments. That alone implies that any conclusions regarding the consequences need to be tempered, and adjusted to previous norms.

Children develop at different rates , at different times , and the lack of facial exposure by teachers, mentors and others in the educational environment has never been in practice before. How many children today up until school age actually spend a significant time at home? Children in Pre School , Day care and similar environments have been masked. It has been a broad based response, inflicting those with the least amount of potential harm with the unknown long term ramifications and risks to their development. Beyond common sense , more in the realm of diabolical and borderline criminal.

I’m not “ assuming” anything. My opinion is based on first hand specific experience and exposure to the educational environment . You do realize that some students did not even participate in “ remote learning” , just for starters.

Flu doesn't kill like Covid, nor is flu as contagious. Covid will probably always be around with new mutations coming and going. That is the one similarity with the flu. Hopefully we get to a point where a vaccine is needed only once a year like with flu.

No freedom of choice when it comes to PUBLIC health or NATIONAL security, my friend. Did you ever fly before 9/11? Remember airport security? Did not exist before it. Now government checks smelly shoes and belts. Is it soft as well?
Some restrictions will stay. I don't like it but I guess we will have masks in some places seasonally now.
