Can't wait until our youngest graduates from HS ..... we are also out and taking our multitude of tax dollars with us to some other state with far lower taxes (like so many corporations have done). Many like us have already left and it looks like the best option for many native retirees has become far more inevitable than even just a few years ago. So you're staying for the quality schools then? Yeah, our taxes go to support one of the top 5 school systems in the country. What a waste of money that is!!!!

Every family i know that has moved from the NE to TX and FL has put their kids in private schools because the public schools were so bad - and that's in supposedly good TX and FL districts.
