Australians also put people in concentration camps for quarantine. Should we start doing that too?

They're put up in a hotel. Many Asian countries do the same and it's been credited for helping to keep Covid low there along with other measures

So now we are a society of snitches to the state?! Give me a break .... mind your own business. Are colds obsolete now that we can latch onto covid for power? You all are nuts. Your kids are not at risk and never have been (extremely low # of serious issues .... less than the flu in a normal year).

No break for you. In today's situation, any symptoms are to be considered COVID. we are in 20+% positivity environment. Read any school or any business rules, any symptoms - stay home. No one wants your cold/flu symptoms either.

If more people would follow that simple tenant, not just with Covid but flu, strep etc. Stay the phuk home. Going to work or school sick doesn't qualify for a badge of honor, but one for stupidity.

If everyone did that I am sure we could flatten the curve ... I bet in less than 2 weeks. It's two years+ now .... live your life.

"Staying home if you're sick" is not the same thing as "living your life" if healthy.

Tx Dr. Fauci. You want to end this virus? Go out and get omicron. Its the break the globe has been searching for (the virus clearly does not prevent infection). Take advantage. Am betting the next mutation will not be so forgiving.

Many of the liberal elites have forgotten this, but many people have hourly jobs. You don’t show up, you don’t get paid. It’s not about a badge of honor, it’s about affording food for your kids. Your next response is better paid leave. My next response is that costs employers money which leads to higher prices. Your next response is, what about the cost of the virus. My next response is that doesn’t change the immediate need of the hourly employee or the fact at a certain price I will stop paying for my Starbucks or McDonalds, which will lead to phasing out of employees to keep prices down. Rather than continue, how about you step outside your cushy work-from-home-and-still-get-paid bubble and see how the other half live.

Wow... That's stupid. Your solution is for sick employees to show up to work? Best way to loose customers for sure.

It’s not a solution. It’s reality. Say I’m housekeeping/maintenance at an office building. I need 40 hours of pay to make ends meet. Should I stay home when I have the sniffles. I weigh the potential harm to others against the guaranteed harm to my family. I chose my family. Fortunately my reality is not so dire, but I understand where others are coming from. Painting people
who don’t hunker down with a broad brush of selfishness and stupidity is not acknowledging the reality that many people live in.
