Citizen A
65 years old. Male, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure . Obese , Not healthy
UnVaccinated
Citizen B
65 years old. Male, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure . Obese , Not healthy
Vaccinated
Who is better protected?

It's not black and white but probabilistic. Vaccines are not perfect and no one said they are but statistically speaking vaccines do what they are supposed to do and it is not to prevent it 100% but to give the best chance to survive covid.
We had two different administrations managing this pandemic and 50 different departments of public health... They are all reporting numbers for its state. they are all in a secret agreement to lie to you?
I bet you voted for one of these administrations, feel disappointed they are lying to you?

Vaccine efficiency and morbidity rates form getting the disease are two different things.
Vaccines give you a better chance of not getting the disease. Morbidity once you get infecteds depend upon a number of variables and circumstances.
Take two individuals.
Citizen A
65 years old, male ,no diabetes, no high blood pressure, not obese. In good health .Healthy
Unvaccinated
Citizen B
65 years old. Male, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure . Obese , Not healthy
Vaccinated
Plus there are other issues , Ike genetics, environmental; life style, etc that may affect the ability to survive the disease.
Both get infected with COVD
Who survives ?
Vaccines do not “ give you the best chance to survive”. They gave you a lower risk of getting the disease. They may end up helping you survive, but it is only one of many factors to be able to survive. That’s the point. That’s a fact. Vaccine efficacy and Morbidity ar two different subjects, not to be compared .
If a vaccine is 95 % efficiency, it doesn’t mean that 95 % of those vaccinated will survive off they get the disease.
Don’t you get it? They keep saying the unvaccinated , the unvaccinated, but on;t say anything about the health of the unvaccinated .
Look, I’m all for vaccines. Had them all, and boosters. But the Propaganda being tossed around about them needs to be understood and acknowledged.
We were all told that the vaccines were the answer. You would be “ safe” from getting the disease. That’s a fact. It was said, again and again. It isn’t true.
And how is it? Does it plug my nose so I never breath in covid droplets? Or does vaccine lock me home so I never exposed to covid?
Vaccine helps you to fight the disease off, and the best case is when the host does not even have any symptoms while immune system fights it. Vaccines and booster train the immune system to be prepared to fight it off with antibodies.

Yes, it does. It is exactly what vaccine efficiency means. It measures hospitalizations and death among vaccinated. But remember 95% efficiency was only for phizer and only for original covid. Efficiency for JJ with delta was much much lower... So they even stopped giving JJ in US.

Instead it's been plagued with production issues, questions about safety and of course being less effective.

The fight comes in two forms: fighting it off so you don’t get it and fighting it off if you do get it. Excuse the overly simplistic explanation but you really should do some reading on vaccines to understand them better.

This is the flu, yes its contagious but not deadly. Covid killed the elderly 2 years ago and now wewill just have to keep dealing with a variant of this flu/cold.
