So when the CIAC and other agencies try to make policies , they are making it mostly based on anecdotal information and opinion, and potential Propaganda released on a daily basis.

Omicron is a much less deadly variant than Delta or the OG Covid 19- thank god for that
we have a vax
we have a test
we know how better to treat it

if you are old or have comorbidities ,its still dangerous but for most its not deadly

the spanish flu is still with us in the form of the modern flu, but yes - it did fizzle out. It was in 3 waves though over the course of about 2 years. 2 waves in the United States, and the rest of the world (Europe primarily) got a 3rd wave.

We don't know for sure yet, plus viruses are always mutating.
