      Fact.
CT is one of the most vaccinated states in the US. Low case rates too although like everywhere else cases are going up. With our high vax rates we shouldn't see the same kind of spikes in hospitalizations and deaths as before, or be red states per capita (they have lower vaccinatiin rates). But the system will be strained no doubt because there's still a large number that aren't vaxd. even a "mild" vase of Covid can knock you on your azz for awhile. Get your booster, mask up indoors, be smart but we don'thave to shutdown like before.

We already have tracked devices practically implanted in us. They're called cell phones

Exactly. On top of all the other info about us that's out there. Thinking you can somehow hide is a joke and frankly the government only cares about a small fraction of the population

At least the CIAC has vaccinated athletes competing without masks.
Other wise, some more facts. There are 9000 hospital beds in the state of CT. As of today, there are 6 children with COVID related issues hospitalized.
There are around 800,000 CT residents under the age of 19.
The vast majority of public school children in CT are required to wear masks in school.

You do realize beds are needed for all different patients, not just covid right? CT will do better than many states but we're still in for a rough patch. And while kids don't get very sick with it they can be a source of spread, hence the masks in school. fine by me and my kids. Its helped keep the fall pretty normal thankfully

                Not the op

The reason why masking policies are in effect is because the case rate is currently doubling every 2-3 days and kids are a source of spread as usual. Those 9k beds will fill more quickly than they will clear out. But, we’ll keep one out in the hallway with your name on it. If we run out of beds in the hallway, can you please bring a lawn chair with you? See you soon.

Presently in CT, 10 % of occupied Hospital beds and 12 % of occupied ICU beds are of COVID related illnesses.

Covid patients often have very long hospital stays as well as frequent rehab facility needs. Fewer beds for other patients. There also is a shortage of certain breathing treatment equipment.

Hospital stays for COVID related illnesses are half what they were 6 months ago, with decrease in those needing respiratory therapy.
The longest median stays in CT Hospitals in 2019 were for psychosis, mental and behavioral illnesses.
                              Facts.

The case rates for BH diagnosis are also like 1/100th of what COVID is, so there’s that. If you are worried about this affecting your mental health then you are already done for.
