Harris has neutered herself. She was an awful VP choice.

She's complete non factor. I didn't expect much because of the nature of the role but shes set a new low bar. If Biden runs that's a risk (age, competence) but if he doesn't run that's an even bigger risk for Dems. She is not electable, but how do they push her out? Who runs instead?

Why are you concerned? The alternatives to the right aren’t palatable by most people. Everyone remembers the ****show that was every day of the Trump presidency. No one who is independent or left is looking for that again - maybe even some on the right too. Relax there’s a Kennedy floating around. That will beat any Rittenhouse-Taylor-Green machine they put on the ticket.

Not the poster but the Dems are excellent at fielding poor candidates. They had chances to unseat Graham, Collins and McConnell in the last election but their candidates were poorly chosen. VA Governor's race recently is another example. Agree with above that Biden running is a risk, Harris absolutely is (she did very poorly in the primaries). If Trump doesn't run(and I don't think he will) and the GOP runs a rational, centrist candidate(more Kasich-like than Trump-like) the Dems could readily lose the WH.

Great theory except that the angry rebel without a cause wing of the GOP won’t ever let a centrist run. Something about not wanting to get gored by a RINO. Anyone in the center is caucused with the Democrats at this point.

True. There's little room for sanity in today's GOP. Someone like Kasich can't make it through the primaries any longer.

The Dems ran a poor candidate in VA - tired and old school Dem who put his foot in his mouth on a very hot issue. The Dem won in NJ by a bigger total than VA and % (51.2% vs Youngkin win in VA 50.6%). First time NJ has re-elected a Dem in a long time

Yes the GOP know all about denial. Like the fact that Trump has sunk the party in the long run. Blips like Youngkin are temporary. You can't win in the GOP without being an extremist. That can win local races not national

really? Manchin and Senema tell a different story- they are centrist Dems getting boycotted by the far left which has total control over your party
name the last (first) centrist proposal thats come out of this conference
this whole infrastructure bill was a socialist wish list- the build back better bill is flat out communism and welfare

They're not Dems but RINOS. They're also both attention whores.

Again great theory, but those are nice states that actually contribute to the greatness of the USA, meanwhile voters in red stronghold states won’t vote for centrist candidates for President. They are to bought in to the propaganda on social policy and have become hardliners on way too many things to trust a candidate that doesn’t check all the conservative fascist boxes.
