I dont think the government should be forcing this on anybody. BUT this kind of freedom comes in all different shapes and sizes. As a person I should have the freedom to choose to get it or not. As an employer, they have the choice to mandate it or not. As an employee I have the choice to either follow that mandate or not. Again its about choice, your freedom to choose. You make that choice and you live with what happens next. Its not that difficult to understand.
You cant complain about freedom and turn around and complain you lost your job because they mandated the vaccine and you chose not to get it. You had the choice. I have a family, I choose my family's needs over my own. If me getting a vaccine lets me keep my job and keeps my house, food for kids, cloths for kids then so be it.
This has gone way too far right and too far left. Think logically. Just take a look. From the start, they never said any of the vaccines would keep you from getting sick. Clearly stated that they help you from getting really sick and dying. So with that, you have a choice, get it or dont get it. I choose to get it because it was set up through work and it was extremely easy. Other than that, I probably wouldnt have gotten it.
The more we make this political, the more we continue to get emotional about this, the longer it it will take to get back to normal, if ever. This is a flu like disease, and as you can see we dont even have 100% vaccine for the common flu. This is something we will have to deal with for a long time and unless we can keep politics and emotion out of it we will never see the end.
You are right it is about freedom. I and my your kids should have the freedom to not be impacted by a virus we catch from you by just being near you or in a room where you breathed. That’s a freedom far greater than the one you are pining for. Perhaps you would like me and others to sue you for reckless endangerment. What’s better for you? A thousand of those lawsuits or eff’n man up and get your vaccine. You need to exit retard mode some time. BTW the government is not enforcing anything. Your employers do not want the liability and would like to resume their economic growth. Again push the button to exit retard mode anytime

2. If you are vaccinated, why are you so concerned about someone else's choice to not be vaccinated? You are protected. Good luck with your lawsuit when you have no damages. Your emotional rant that the non-vaccinated somehow impact the health of the vaccinated is not logical or rational. Bottom line, our society makes choices everyday where individual actions impact each other in society. We, as represented by our government, make decisions about those trade-offs of freedoms vs. individual liberty. Where is the line, should people that refuse the flu shot go to jail? How about overweight people being jailed for clogging our health system? There certainly are enough lets say "less than intelligent people" in our government willing to virtue signal, ignore rational thought and use the issue for political gain. And there are certainly enough political sheep around to react emotionally to the "you are killing my grandma" nonsense. The hysteria surrounding covid when the world did not know what it was or its implications early on, ok, but now we have a vaccine and know that severe consequences are extremely rare. Go live your life, let other lives theirs, and move on.

2. You said it was you, before, but now it is your kids. OK So your kids, who are more likely to be hit by lightening than have any serious impact from covid, is the reason for your emotional drivel? I know, you are going to sue your neighbor because your kid came home with a stuffy nose too. No wonder this country is so screwed up.

biden administration and the majorities the dems have in both houses have done a crappy job. Border a disaster, Afghanistan a disaster, domestic legislation a disaster, covid and vaccine a disaster. His domestic agenda is disappearing in front of his own eyes.
look no further then nyc under deblasio as an example of what havoc one man can do to those he is supposed to serve. Biden is going to set dems back at least 4-8 year.

You have a better chance of hitting both than your 1 year old being adversely affected by covid. Secondly, as the other poster mentioned, why do you care what everyuone else does if you got this amazing vaccine?? I am vaxxed too and couldn't care less if you or anyone else gets it. It has absolutely no bearing on me. Want to get people back to work safely, stop giving hand out after handout to stay home and watch the price is right for the last 18 months.

was that even English? Kind of hard to call some body a retard when you read that. Like the poster said, you have a choice. If you are so scared you or your kids might get sick then you have the choice to stay home in your bubble, otherwise STFU

It’s great to know that more people who think like me will be left in a few years than folks like you. One of my vaxed employees just got it today. It’s going around. Give your kids and the Unmask Sign in your front yard a kiss tonight. Tomorrow is unknown.

Well, I am not going to reply with a nasty response. Clearly, COVID has caused you significant fear, and I do not want anyone to live in fear whether that fear is justified or unjustified. I am sure in your mind it is justified. And there are certainly enough actors in the media and political world that stroke these fears for less than altruistic reasons. To hopefully provide you some comfort, I would encourage you to google death statistics in the US for the past 5 years and I think you will find about the same number of people have died each and every year pre and post covid. With all the hysteria around covid, you would think it would be much more recently, but statistically, it is just not the case. Elderly and those with pre-existing conditions die at a higher rate than healthy young people and the plain hard truth is that they are just having the covid label slapped on them versus some other cause. I wish you the best in your journey and hope you can manage your fear to a level where you can start to participate in society and you and your family can live a full and wonderful life.
