Inflation is coming because of the scarcity of goods coming from overseas. Anyone not working now has a reason. You forget we lost over a million people - mostly adults to COVID. Many were hourly workers who couldn’t afford to not work and could not work at home. Sorry those workers aren’t coming back to your landscape operation or pizza shop. But you can send flowers.

If things were made in the United States in the first place maybe we wouldn’t be in this predicament. We lost too many people to COVID, no denying that. Now that we understand it better and most people can be vaccinated it’s time to adjust our thinking.
Even if we made everything in the US there are still raw materials we do not have domestically. I get it you cannot think deeper than that. We do not have the rare earth metals needed in most advanced electronics that are used in cars and so many other high value things. High value things lead to bigger paychecks. Don’t tell me you want to build McDonalds toys. No didn’t think so, because that doesn’t pay and that company could never afford your union benefits. Sorry to break it to you. Gung-ho was a beautiful movie, but there’s a lot more than labor involved in making most goods. You are welcome for this dose of reality and the business lesson. Remember it’s your negotiated benefits that are the reason we give work to the amigos south of the border and the Chinese you love to hate. Work is valued by the price of the end product and skill involved and not because you think you deserve more. If you’ve been taught by someone to do 100% of your job than don’t expect more than a bit over minimum wage. The more thinking you need to do on the job the more you get paid.

We should also point out that a global economy where you can ship stuff around the world, means management cannot just markup the cost of a product to whatever they like so they can afford to cover your wages and benefits. Anyone making a similar product that can undercut the price with acceptable quantity will put a business out of business. I’m sure this reality doesn’t come up at the union hall.

Even Biden’s own military officials are saying he didn’t listen and botched the whole exit. At least Trump would’ve done it in the right order.

No dummy this was always going to fail hard. Just like Chris Collinsworth will second guess a throw Tom Brady makes, just because a few Army leaders second guess it doesn’t mean it is worth listening to. We all know James Bond could have fixed this, but you’ll have to wait for that script to be written.
they arent second guessing they knew in advance and told Biden-under oath testimony
Biden knew that as soon as he pulled the air cover it was over- normal person would have kept the air cover until all the civis were out - but not him
it was done as ass backwards as possible
he closed Bagrham but thought the embassy could stay- how crazy is that?
you,the entire media and all democrats tried to spin this for weeks -it still smells like crap and always will
poor execution of a bad plan, and it got a lot of people killed, not to mention we looked really bad

I have a company of 100 employees
80 are vaccinated (80%)
I fire 20 for not taking the jab.
Now I have a company of 80 employees
100% vaccinated
How is anything better?
Shell game continues on.
