Right now it’s well reported that it’s the unvaccinated who are catching it because of a pitiful attempt to actually stand for something after 4 years of “no-policy”

Cute thesis on your part. The fact that you work from home is not Lamont’s doing. No mandate against it, just your employers decision.

I go to work every day in Fairfield county. Two people in my office reported having covid in the last two weeks. Both double vaccinated individuals. Our office vaccination rate is in the high 90s. So better than the majority of places in ct. I feel safe there. Safer then when I go to a restaurant, etc. show the data that you say is well documented. How many of the new cases in ct are unvaccinated? Provide me the names of the 5 right wing radio personalities who died lamenting they did not get the vaccine. You can probably come up with one or two, but I doubt 5.

Deaths, hospitalization and cases are all up to levels not seen since last year nationwide. That is with a vaccine. Covid has been weaponized by the partisan in government. They, along with the cdc, fda, etc, have all failed us. Failed in their preparation, failed in their response, their messaging, etc. heck, Afghanistan has less cases of covid per capita. They live in a sheethole with no protective gear, no access to vaccine and no bloated as a tick public health organizations and crappy hospitals.

Ok…maybe 60k insurance related workers in ct. mostly liberal *****s living in hartford suburbs who think Fsa is a quality soccer club. You skumbags should stay up there in the woods and eat take out. I hope you get a deer tick and get Lyme. Bunch of soft paper pushers who add no value to to the us economy. No real job skills, don’t build anything, don’t create anything, don’t pay their fair share of taxes (most insurance companies have countless subsidiaries domiciled in tax havens to avoid paying taxes.). most insurance companies have hundreds of employees who have a primary job responsibility of either overselling financially engineered products to old people or trying to minimize how much they pay on a claim.

Unvaccinated Republicans have failed us. Not only will they not get vaccinated but they won't wear masks or socially distance. That is why numbers are going up.

And let's repeat it one more time for those in the back of the room:

You can still catch Covid if vaccinated

You're many times less likely to become seriously ill or die if vaccinated

Other covid precautions like masks indoors will help keep CT numbers lower for covid, high vaccination rates will keep people out of the hospital.

So don't get one. No one is putting a gun to your head, employers and others aren't requiring it.

Yet I could buy you on any day. Actually you are pretty uninformed. CT department of insurance makes sure all companies pay full federal and state taxes - not Trump style. Until recently they also paid additional premium taxes. But you barely know how to tie your shoes so I’m wasting my words. You are dreaming of the day a southern CT club would be boys FSA…

When the fall wave comes to deep blue CT in a few weeks, it must be all the republicans.

No they will be the ones on the hospital. Positive Dems will have a few sniffles and go back to school or work as soon as they test negative again

Mandatory vaccination + mandatory mask = 5x more cases over last year.

not the poster - look, cases shot up initially on lots of college campuses last fall as students came back together. Some schools panicked and went all online, some stayed open, many did a hybrid. By spring more kids were on campus. Schools are desperate to make sure they stay up and running this fall. That means masks, vaccines, frequent testing. There will be cases. It's just going to happen when you have dorms, dumb college kids, off campus parties etc.. The difference is now a professor who catches it or the local shopkeeper won't wind up in the hospital if they pick it up from students.

Let us know when Cornell has to go all online again Like Liberty U recently had to https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/li...ads/ar-AANMYSi

“We are taking the necessary steps and actions to lighten the burden to our medical service providers, the local hospital resources, and to do our part to keep our community safe,” said Keith Anderson, executive director of Liberty’s Student Health Center and Wellness Initiatives.

All residential classes are switching to online and all large indoor gatherings are suspended during the temporary restrictions, the university said."

                              Connecticut College
                              99% vaccination rate earns students:

                              1. confined to residence hall; friends cannot visit

                              2. allowed to socialize with three students outside, socially distanced and wearing masks

                              3. Students must receive approval from their class dean to leave campus

As always, the lesson: you can not comply your way to freedom.

                              It is an expensive prison.
No one is being forced to attend classes there.

And, by in large, this is a bunch of leftists inflicting pain upon each other. In that regard, I say the college should require them to wear 5 masks and sit in solitude. You are getting what you deserve.

I've got two in college and for now they aren't restricted like that at all - so far. Yes they have to be vaccinated, wear masks in all public areas and participate in random testing. CT College is the problem here - they've gone way over board for such a highly vaccinated campus and area.
