And when everyone gets sick your sports teams will forfeit games and your kids will be stuck at home for weeks. Smart, really smart. I cannot wait to hear about your school district on the news. I doubt they will be kind. Especially if a few people end up in the hospital. Hope you have a good umbrella policy because your liable and everyone knows where you live…

we are 3 years into this.
      Covid is actually slow mutating
      that’s why only 2 primary variant’s
      moving to endemic now
      fall will be just fine.
      Or late in 2019 ….. that’s why it’s covid-19 and not covid-18!

Covid 21 is named after the strain Biden let in at the border. Some racist scientist labelled it the lambada strain because it started in South America, but joe is the one who let it n, put it on a bus and set it loose in America, including ct

Lol good luck with that. Kids, parents and teachers want everyone back in school and if masks make that happen then so be it.

Let us know how it turns out. Or maybe one of your unhinged rants will wind up on Channel 12.

Seriously not sure why people care if others wear a mask or not. Want to wear a mask, go ahead. Don't want to wear a mask, go ahead. Same for vaccine. Your body, your choice as long as you accept the responsibility. My entire family and I are vaxxed and I have started wearing a mask again indoors most of the time and I couldn't care less if you mask or vax. It doesnt offend me. Why is everyone else so triggered. If masks and the vaccine are so great, then getting vaxxed and masking yourself should be sufficient to keep you from getting the virus (or getting it badly). Conversely, if you dont get vaxxed or wear a mask and you are low risk or not and get it .... deal with it ... your choice. Wish everyone would just settle down and get back to normal and stop worrying about what everyone else thinks or does when it is none of your darned business.

It's the anti-mask types that are triggered, you know freedumbs and all that. Normally I don't give two sh its what others do but when your actions contribute to a public health crisis there's a problem. These people wear shoes in store, obey (most) of the rules of the road, hopefully don't ever drive drunk. So then why is it so hard to wear a mask if you're getting a hair cut? If anything parents should want their kids as protected as possible in school - not because they'll get deathly ill but because outbreaks will lead to more quarantining and possibly lengthy distance learning again. Then there's all the cancelled sports, dance classes etc. That's not good for the kids or their working parents.

I think you are the one that has it backwards. I think the anti-mask and anti-vaxxers just want to be left alone to make their own decision. If they have to get vaxxed to work and wear a mask to shop, then it really isnt their choice, is it? Again, If you want to mask and get vax, great, but why do you feel everyone else needs to as well? Doesn't your own vax and mask guarantee you safe passage through walmart and the work day?

If your actions can negatively effect others then no it's not yours to decide. Like the post said - these people obey stop signs and traffic lights not just to protect themselves but others. Wearing a mask is no different.

Tell the pro-abortion people that. If you are vaccinated and wear a mask and both are effective, then why does anyone else need to do anything? Isn't that overkill and sheer stupidity? What are they not telling us? Listen, if you are scared to catch covid, get the third shot, triple mask, and dont come out of your basement until summer of 2023. Otherwise, shut up. You have no right to tell everyone what to do, especially a fit person under 70 with no pre-existing conditions who have almost no risk. You're a joke too.

I am a good looking guy. I dont need to wear a mask. I consider myself sophisticated, like the Obama birthday crowd, so I shouldn't have to wear a mask. However, when I am in the presence of low income working class people on the subway, I will gladly mask up

Irony is lost on cons....the same people who scream "my body my choice" are the same ones who are against abortion.

I was just thinking the same thing. Being conservative use to mean something - a certain consistency of thought. Now it’s inconsistent and thoughtless. “Your telling me what to do, wahhh”. Let me parade around, put up signs, make flags, and re-storming the capitol instead of doing the right thing for “the team”.

I guess you’ll pull your kid from indoor then this year because every single insurer of these facilities and clubs will force them to have you to wear a mask on the field. Feel free to protest all you want; you will not be playing this winter and your kids dreams of being someone will be lost. You can try to console them that they are doing the right thing by following the advice of the right wing cabal, but you will have many bedroom doors slammed in your face. Only then will you understand that you failed yourself, your family, and your community by being party to this idiotic stance.

Ask Hartford and new haven restaurant and bar owners how their mandatory mask requirements are going to affect them. Can go to WeHa or Gbury and not mask up for a nice night out. Again, if you want to make or fax, have at it ….. just don’t demand everyone else do it dummy. There is simply no need.

I’ve been to both places during mandatory mask days quite a bit. I had a great time and felt safe. What’s your point? They aren’t making the money they were before? Buddy those days are gone. Parading around won’t liberate people to pack themselves into those bars. I personally love what COVID did to WeHa dining scene. The outdoor atmosphere is so nice that even New York magazine wrote about WeHa as a place for New Yorkers to visit. Maybe things will change in a few years, but everyone knows in those business models there is a cycle and even the best places only last so long. Im sorry if you are personally affected by this and feel like you lost and this is your only way to getting back to where you think you should be. It won’t help. In fact you most likely will loose everything if you keep it up. The moratorium on liability is over, so when you start this fire you better be prepared for the consequences - most who marched on the capitol were not prepared for the consequences. Most are finding more out about the legal system and being sized up for orange jumpsuits. It’s not too late to turn back. This trail is not marked.

People won't go out to eat or hang out at a bar if they're worried. Bars and restaurants would rather be open with some restrictions then not have enough customers, and no one want a repeat of Spring2020.
