mRNA technology is new
It’s been developed as a therapy (continual dosing)
Vaccination does not work that way
There has never been a fully FDA approved mRNA product ever despite it being tried for over a decade.
Moderna does not have a single FDA fully approved product

The product I would consider is novavax.
FDA is dragging it’s feet on EAU.

I wish you also knew that mRNA were just fat cells like any other that send signals to other cells on to defend. Seems like something to avoid given we have had scientists working with it on Coronavirus’ since the early 2000’s and the SARS virus and plenty of trials to try and cure various cancers. You seems like someone who cares about facts what about those? EAU is a produce of situations that are normally comfortable when we can take a decade to evaluate whether someone will fart smellier if vaccinated than someone else who isn’t. This isn’t about that - hence the emergency use approval. You must be an investor in Norovax, because that is even less tested than the 100’s of millions on mRNA vaccinations worldwide. That vaccine is DOA, given the supply chains required and how Moderna and Pfizer have built a massive moat from being fronted money to build a massive supply chain.

J&J had contamination issues with several million doses and a slightly higher risk factor for certain reactions. J&J has had a lot of lawsuits with other products. It also wasn't nearly as widely available and later to the party. Nine ifbthst has helped the brand. When I got vaccinated in March and April it wasn't even an option.

Yes I couldn't care less if an antivaxer gets sick. Their body, their choice, right? Not happy that all of us pay higher insurance rates because some of these idiots will have high treatment bills, but I guess stupidity is a pre existing condition, right?

However, I will have a real problem if my dad doing chemo gets sick from one of them, or my good friend who has Lupus. I think because CT has a high vaccination rate and a dominance of mostly rational people we shouldn't experience a lot shutdowns or restrictions. I'm fine going to back to wearing masks if required. I already do around vulnerable people and keep my distance, knowing I could be an unknown carrier.

Your dad (or anyone) can still get sick from infected, vaccinated people. It is no one's responsibility to protect your dad, other than his. Sorry, don't mean to be mean, but you cant unload that BS argument on everyone. I got vaccinated as did everyone in my family. I gave each of my kids the choice and they also chose to do it, but I didnt worry about them getting covid .... they are all extremely fit and young and this virus doesnt really do anything to them.
