So, kids can be unvaxxed and sit in classrooms for 7 hours but teams outside or dispersed in large gyms need the shot? You're a smart one. Team sports have never been the problem.

As long as you aren't hurting others, I don't care what you do. Negatively impact others and it's game on. Go find an island to make your new homeland. Maybe call it Covidia? No they won't. As long as high schools are open and running, sports will too, even if it's with restrictions and limitations. If they got through last year with everyone unvaccinated they can get through this.

Problem is it doesn't. Kids under 12 can't get vaccinated, some medically vulnerable adults can't. There's also concerns very immune compromised adults could become ill with a mutated strain. I've got a young adult that fits that description. They've already been told they will likely need a booster of some kind this fall.

Anyway, glad to be in CT where our vaccination rates are excellent. I just saw a scroll on the local news vaccinations are up 7% in the state this week. Those fools who have waited may be waking up finally.

Lol a TS statistician. CT already has a high vaccination rate but adding anyone to to V column is a good thing. The entire country saw a 14% rise in vaccination rates. Some states have abysmally low rates, not surprisingly mostly republican leaning. It will be 6 weeks before newly vaccinated people reach maximum protection. Will they follow recommendations to mask up and distance in the interim? Love those stories about the idiots in the hospital who say they still won't get vaccinated. Smdh.
