and the scientists said 2 weeks to flatten the curve and once we get a vaccine it will all be fine and blah blah blah...leaders had to make decisions based on ALL data not just scientific data...it did not have to be as bad as some governors have made it...the prudent strategy was to protect the vulnerable to the best of their ability and keep other parts of the community as normal as possible...shutting everything down for an extended period of time was the wrong strategy
