The Boulder law was thrown out of court not two weeks before the shooting. Besides, city and even state bans are useless because criminals can just drive to the next spot they're allowed to buy a weapon legally - and illegally can happen anywhere. If you're going to have gun laws that have a chance to make a difference they need to be nationally consistent.

I'm sick of people saying nothing can be done, there's too many guns already, oh look they had rules and it didn't work that one time. There isn't one sweeping thing that will fit it all and we can never 100% fix it all. But we can make it BETTER. It will take a multi pronged approach and will take time. 12,000 guns laws already across the country. Crazy man with a revolver could kill 10 just as easy as with any other weapon. The left is just so clueless.

Black on black crime that kills thousands upon thousands every year does not seem to interest them though. The 30 people a year killed in high profile shootings really gets their dander up cause they know its exploitation time. Time to feign outrage, start immediately screaming before the victims bodies get cold and not let a high profile incident go to waste politically. well since the ruger is classified as a pistol it cant be an AR style weapon, which would be a rifle
so a factual story would say he had 2 semi auto pistols, which is factual
but that doesnt scare anyone as much as saying AR ( which is just a manufacturer that makes many different style weapons)
