Here's why politics are rancid in the US today.
Nearly 2 yrs ago, AOC & other Dems toured (& condemned) the TX border situation under Trump. It's now 2x-3x worse(under Biden) & Dems are awol & now Reps are touring. No bipartisan honesty/integrity, ever.

Yes the system has been broken for forever. Every administration has made half attempts at making changes, often stonewalled by the opposite party and we get nowhere. It's not going to get fixed over night either. Not only do we need to overhaul our systems and laws about many of these countries are simply broken - decades of poverty, corruption, wars and gangs driving people north.

You do know that these arent really unaccompanied minors right. No 9 year old is walking by themselves for 2100 miles....even at a brisk pace, that is 4 months time minimum. They come with the family. They send the kid to the border because they know we will take them. The parent crosses the rio grande on a raft and sneaks in. Reunited once the kid is released.

The Washington Post admitted in a correction that it had “misquoted” former President Donald Trump telling Georgia’s top elections investigator “to find the fraud,” in December.
The correction ran atop an online version of the updated original story that had quoted an anonymous source about a phone call Trump made to Georgia’s top elections investigation official shortly before Christmas.
“Correction: Two months after publication of this story, the Georgia secretary of state released an audio recording of President Donald Trump’s December phone call with the state’s top elections investigator. The recording revealed that The Post misquoted Trump’s comments on the call, based on information provided by a source,” the correction published Thursday began.
“Trump did not tell the investigator to ‘find the fraud’ or say she would be ‘a national hero’ if she did so. Instead, Trump urged the investigator to scrutinize ballots in Fulton County, Ga., asserting she would find ‘dishonesty’ there. He also told her that she had ‘the most important job in the country right now.'”

Joe's averaging 2.5 to 3M vaccinations a day. How does that happen without ramping up supplies and distribution? He even got competitorsto cooperate on production. He's helping states by bringing in FEMA and the military to run large vaccination sites. Trump had no distribution plan past the initial hospital and nursing home set. The relief bill is very popular with 70% Republicans.
Cons are flummoxed that Biden is succeeding.

they like the 10% of the bill that actually deals with covid release- the 90% of give aways and pet projects (like Nancys bridge to nowhere), not so much

Trump was smart enough to place orders before we had a vaccine. Biden bet the game after it was over and we knew the score. Bought too much. Needed to waste money
