You cons make it sound like people are just being allowed through the gates. People are still being arrested, detained and deported. If you're illegal you're illegal. If you're applying for asylum there's a process you have to go through to even be allowed in on a temporary basis and over 90% of asylum seekers show up for all their appointments and court dates.
Add more temporary visas for unskilled workers and we can track these workers, they pay taxes and go home after awhile. Trump limited the number of unskilled visas to an absurdly low figure, not nearly enough to do all the crap jobs Americans won't do. Trump also didn't do a thing to punish companies that hire illegals. If companies get hit with real pain they'll make sure they vet people and hire them legally. REVAMP THE SYSTEM

As for cases and deaths, yes they were plateauing at inauguration and yes have had a steady decline since then. But the reality is it takes people weeks to finally die from this when they do. Someone who caught Covid Jan 15th but dies Deb 7th? One can argue that's under Trump. Funny how you cons wanted to take all the credit from Obama's upward economic trajectory but none of Trump's death trends.

Children are not being separated from their parents, unlike under Trump. If the parents are illegal or dont' qualify for asylum proceedings the whole family goes back together.
Facts.

It should stay.
We need to discourage people that don’t want to go through the legal process.

Facts. Was Trump on an upward trajectory? Sure. But Biden hit 1M a day very quickly and took off like a rocket after that. 1M was his target and now he's averaging 2.1-2.5M a day. He's brought in FEMA and the military, asked states for more National Guard help, gotten one manufacturer to produce a competitor's vaccine.

if you look at the graph it is as you would expect for the graph to look on something this largescale to ramp up except for a hiccup in mid February...I believe I gave joe credit for not effing that up...as for the economy that is totally different in terms of interpretation as economies are cyclical...hence, if you take over in a bad economy chances are much greater that the economy will grow...problem with barry was the rate of growth was weak in comparison to where it started...if the economy is good when you start the chances are greater that it will fall...making the continued record setting continued growth of the economy that much more of an achievement...joe got dealt a good hand because of the pandemic because the dems kept the economy depressed for the last 6 months of Trump's term so he should usher in a growth cycle...a little rudimentary overview but I figure that would be best for you
