Nope, highest Trump hit was 950,000 at inauguration time. In October he promised 100M by Jan, By Thanksgiving it was 20M. His total by Jan 1 was 2.9M. Facts. Was Trump on an upward trajectory? Sure. But Biden hit 1M a day very quickly and took off like a rocket after that. 1M was his target and now he's averaging 2.1-2.5M a day. He's brought in FEMA and the military, asked states for more National Guard help, gotten one manufacturer to produce a competitor's vaccine.

As for cases and deaths, yes they were plateauing at inauguration and yes have had a steady decline since then. But the reality is it takes people weeks to finally die from this when they do.
