ok so you found faults in the first bill-fine

all the more reason to not make the same mistakes again-

Does not make a difference. You can donate your paycheck too and go get some federal assistance.

It was definitely a mistake .... Lesson learned. Oh no, it wasn't; why are we doing it again?

No one wants to see businesses go under and employees lose their paychecks. But life can toss you unexpected handgrenades some times. You do the best you can with what you've got to work with.

Push all the cost of the shutdown on someone else and then take some righteous stance that everyone else is in the wrong. Not enough bad stuff can happen to you.
I am happy to see someone gets it.
I had a legal legitimate business (bar)
That the state decided was not safe to operate no matter what measures I took.
It provided a living for my family & 17 other families
The response to the virus is the biggest single failure in American history
I will exhaust what few resources I have left, to hold the state accountable for what they did to my employees & my family in an effort to ensure that something like this never happens again.
I owe it to society to hold the state accountable for their transgressions against its citizens.

Why don't you start with a good accountant as many of your loses are tax deductible.

Join with other businesses in a class action lawsuit because lawyers will eat through your $ in no time.

                Got years of carryover
And yes I am working with others who are in my boat.
In June I sold my inventory for pennies on the dollar.
                Shut off utilities etc.
                still have a mortgage
                Still have property tax
                Still paying my business licenses
None of that puts money in my checking account

How is no revenue tax deductible? Even if he gets a small percentage of rent payments or other variable and fixed costs as write offs, it constitutes major losses on a monthly basis.

                    Exactly!
Odd’s are good I will never be able to take all the losses
I would need to re-open to have revenue.
It is doubtful I will ever reopen
It may be time to move on
12 years of my efforts down the drain
I blame the government not the pandemic
If I was allowed to stay open and try and make some income and I could not convince the public that it was safe to patronize my establishment then I would blame the pandemic and myself. However I was never even given the opportunity to try and safely operate. That is why I blame the government.
I was denied the opportunity to safely operate my business.

It's a common thing for small businesses in the last year especially for restaurants, theaters and the like. Many people would choose not to do these things or perhaps to choose places that imemented safety protocols better than their peers .... But that is for consumers to decide not big brother. Thousands of restaurants in MYC are not responding and I heard about 900 in CT will not either. The government ruined these people's livelihoods and just took a ton of them out of those poor business owners out of the middle class. Can probably throw in Barbers, salons and scores of other businesses as well.

DHS announced yesterday the facilities will be used purely as processing centers, where families won't be separated like Trump did. Unaccompanied minors will be processed and sent to family or foster families until they can get a hearing. They won't be deported by themselves like Trump did

Sure there were. Just like the countless cases in outdoor soccer right?
