What happens after that remains to be seen, but probably we will need boosters of some kind to thwart off variants. Whether or not it's annually like the flu or every ____ years who knows.[/QUOTE]
I don’t agree with this. Variants are viral attenuation occurring.
attenuation is when infectious virus becomes harmless or less virulent through its natural progression.
We are witnessing the 5th coronavirus becoming endemic & basically a widely circulating “cold virus”. This last occurred in 1890 from cows to humans.
In just 1 more year, everyone will have been exposed and the virus will continue to attenuate to be less deadly are more contagious.
There will be no need for vaccine for young or healthy. Old & frail will need it like a flu shot.
Remember: drug companies want to sell you drugs and create demand for their products & government is assisting them because of political contributions.
Remember also, the old & frail die with & from the other 4 circulating coronavirus “colds”
The very young children will soon be the only ones not ever exposed to Covid and they will get it, generally not have severe symptoms, and continue on they way the do with the ordinary colds.
This is the natural state of the human existence. This is what has happened for thousands of years before a vaccine was ever convinced of.
We don’t need constant, yearly protection for Covid.
The very old & frail might.

Colleges will require it, understandably, since students/dorms/off campus apartments have been the source of outbreaks at some schools (others have done very well).
It's up to wealthier nations to make sure poorer ones have access to the vaccine. Mexico isn't necessarily "poor" but like many countries they are having a hard time just getting supplies. I saw a stat somewhere that the vast majority of shots administered so far come from like 10 wealthy countries.

Give them shelter and three squares. When they have completed 2 years service, they get citizenship and the right to vote democrat for life. The women I would have them prepare meals and make the beds, maybe make some side money if you know what I mean. The kids....welcome to America.......they get some schooling for a portion of the day and the rest they are put to work as well in exchange for the golden ticket

“I want to see you eat the whole sausage,” the Democratic governor is heard telling then-NewsChannel 9 reporter Beth Cefalu, as his daughter Michaela sits quietly next to him, according to the video shared by journalist Matt Binder.
“I don’t know if I should eat the whole sausage in front of you, but I’m definitely going to eat it,” responds Cefalu, now a reporter and anchor at News 12 Westchester.
Cuomo then invites Cefalu — who snaps a selfie with him while holding up her plate — to sit at his table.
“There’s too much sausage in that picture,” Cuomo says in the cringeworthy exchange, prompting laughter from other diners.

Common sense is uncommon.
All you need to do is pull your head out of the sand and look at what is happening.

US Customs and Border Protection is sending additional agents to the Mexican border in response to a mounting migration crisis.
The agency, which includes the Border Patrol, said in a Monday statement that the agents will be arriving to help address a spike in apprehensions, including of unaccompanied children.
“Due to fluctuations along the Southwest Border, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is deploying additional Border Patrol agents to the Rio Grande Valley Sector area of operation,” the agency said in a statement.
Hundreds of agents may be redeployed from assignments along the US coasts and the northern border with Canada, the New York Times reported.
The Biden administration is dealing with a significant uptick in border apprehensions, with Republicans accusing President Biden of sparking the surge by relaxing some of former President Donald Trump’s policies.
In January, which featured the final weeks of Trump’s term and the start of Biden’s, CBP detained nearly 78,000 people, up from 36,679 in January 2020.
About 2,200 unaccompanied children crossed the border each week in February.
The Biden administration recently opened two overflow detention facilities for minors who arrive at the border without parents
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Monday denied there was a “crisis” on the border, saying it was instead a “stressful challenge.”
“The men and women of the Department of Homeland Security are working around the clock, seven days a week to ensure that we do not have a crisis at the border, that we manage the challenge as acute as the challenge is,” he said when pressed by reporters at a White House briefing.
In his first month, Biden ended construction of Trump’s signature US-Mexico border wall and began to end the “Remain in Mexico” policy under which about 71,000 Central American asylum applicants were awaiting rulings in Mexico. He issued an order affirming the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which gives work permits and protection from deportation to people brought illegally to the US as minors, and proposed legislation that would create a path to citizenship for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the US.

But unlike his two predecessors, former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama, Biden did not mention Dr. Seuss.
The move comes as Dr. Seuss’ work has generated controversy following a study highlighting a lack of diversity among the author’s characters.
“Of the 2,240 (identified) human characters, there are forty-five characters of color representing 2% of the total number of human characters,” according to a 2019 study from the Conscious Kid’s Library and the University of California that examined 50 of Dr. Seuss’ books.

I guess on the bright side, Biden is killing about that many a day with the China virus, so now he can say we are net neutral. We replaced a lot of old retired people with young future landscapers
