Cases are blowing up in South Africa and Brazil, who are in their SUMMER right now.

And just like that Israel’s demand for the vaccine has dried up. They were doing 150-200k a day with long lines. Yesterday they only managed 77k. No lines. Vaccine site’s ended up dumping 1,000’s of doses because they had anticipated it to be like the days before. When they realized what was happening they began offering the vaccine to anyone who would take it. And still wasted 1,000’s of doses. The same will happen here. So the question is why has demand dried up? Is something wrong with the vaccine? Are the adverse events to severe? Is the vaccine effective. Based on what is occurring in Israel it is clear the vaccine is not 95% effective. Much much lower. Particularly for the elderly and frail. The ones who need it.

Thin the herd! Old and frail don’t need it. The people working every day need it. The kids going to school need it. The kids need it only to force the teacher unions to actually work. Otherwise, the kids suffer....they have another 6 or 7 decades of an impact. The old get to live another couple years and probably have or should have a lifetime of working and saving to bide their time.

That's too early. Pre pandemic employment was at historic lows. You don't just continue printing money and add trillions to debt to get historic low unemployment any time you have a recession. Why don't we just do that every time we are not at historic low unemployment? The government has been more than generous with the trillions provided so far. A target of 5% unemployment should be fine. We will get there without additional stimulus by this summer.

If the addition stimulus is needed, it should be extremely targeted.

Travel, entertainment, restaurants etc They are massive sectors of our economy. Fix Covid and people start going out more, traveling again, going to see concerts, hitting the craps tables
