Vaccine site’s ended up dumping 1,000’s of doses because they had anticipated it to be like the days before. When they realized what was happening they began offering the vaccine to anyone who would take it. And still wasted 1,000’s of doses. The same will happen here. So the question is why has demand dried up? Is something wrong with the vaccine? Are the adverse events to severe? Is the vaccine effective. Based on what is occurring in Israel it is clear the vaccine is not 95% effective. Much much lower. Particularly for the elderly and frail. The ones who need it.
