He has an ego as big as the state.

What we know about the mRNA vaccines (from the clinical trials):

      1) They produce antibodies to the spike protein.
      2) They reduce very mild to moderate disease in a healthy population.
      3) They cause serious side effects in many people...

      What we DO NOT know:

      1) If they slow community transmission.
      2) If they reduce hospitalizations or clinically serious disease.
      3) If they reduce Covid deaths.
      4) If they reduce (or increase) overall mortality.
      5) If they increase the likelihood of dangerous mutations...

BTW: Before people start yelling at me: when I say, "They produce antibodies to the spike protein," I mean, "They cause cells to produce the spike protein and thus lead the immune system to respond by creating antibodies."

And anyone who tells you anything else is guessing. I don't want to say lying, so I'll say guessing.

But right now the Israeli experience provides ZERO evidence that the vaccines are helpful on a population-wide basis. Maybe that will change soon. But hope is not data.
This is not accurate. The vaccines do reduce severe COVID and prevents deaths. Read the results:

Particularly page 27 and graph on page 28. You can't have more clear results.

        For who? Healthy young people.
They left the old, & vulnerable out of the trials.
So this is just BS. The old & vulnerable are still getting Covid and still needing medical attention and still dying.
Not enough data to prove they prevent bad outcomes for the exact people who have bad outcomes.
They were trials designed to succeed.
We are essentially in phase iv of trials right now by vaccination of the public.
        We just don’t know yet.

True troll. Exaggerate any negatives and downplay or ignore all of the positives. Fortunately for us not every one needs to get the vaccine to get to herd immunity.

you point 5 is crazy in that you dont understand mutations. The less people that get the virus the less chance of potential dangerous mutations. mRNA or other vaccine do not encourage mutations.

You are so wrong. I am actively rooting for the vaccine’s success but there are concerns that must be answered. Why is asking questions viewed as dangerous? Typical political response. Shut up and don’t ask questions. We told you everything you should know. The simple fact of the matter is public health officials have lost any and all trust from society and we are rightly skeptical about what they say because they change the goal post all the time.

25% of the trial participants were >65 years and older.

You have no idea how trials work and clearly haven't read anything about this one

Completely untrue. Trials such as this recruit multiple demographic and medical groups. Safety and efficacy are examined by those groups.
Also, as another said it takes several weeks for people to receive both vaccinations and mount an immune response. It's a huge disadvantage that they went with the two shot versions but what had results and approval first. Only a small fraction of the elderly have gotten the 2nd shot and they need a good two weeks after that the 2nd one to have max protection. Then there's the rest of the population who won't get it for months. This will not be like turning on a faucet but a drip drip drip to fill a bucket
