Just a FYI, when designing a public health program, lived experience can never be replaced by "expertise". As more & more of the public have the Rona and are not sick, you will never convince them it is seriously a threat. This is why more and more public pushback is happening.
It is like mask. Everyone clearly sees they have not be effective at slowing down the spread anywhere. This is what the public see’s. Trying to convince them otherwise just kills any credibility.Comment

White privilege is trash made up by sociologists to trying to fool people into thinking that they have a skill and are even remotely credible. People who value education have an advantage and should have an advantage over those who do not. Many urban people (and very rural as well) do not and many of those folks go on to make up the lower classes. Many of these people in the US happen to be minorities. It's not race that causes this. There are plenty of initiatives to get minorities to college but if yoir family has never valued education then what can the rest of the country do? Sorry, if you think the color of the cover of the book gives you precious and private information about the contents then perhaps it is you with racial issues. Don't tell me I got anything because I am white. Not rich at all and have to pay a ton of taxes and have paid my way my entire life. No one ever gave me a free pass because I was white. There are plenty of people that dislike people different than them (of all races) but I dont think the vast majority of Americans (of all races) care as much as the few squeaky wheels who constantly nitpick at pull at any issue they can get a grip on.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
