Frankly it could have been 100 times worse which thankfully it wasn't. I think it's a pretty fitting end - an halfhearted attempt by rag tag group of misfits which didn't really go anywhere because those sworn to do protect did their jobs. Well the lady that was killed is a tough one. There were tactical police on the other side of the window with her, not holding her back. And also what appeared to be a congressman m again with her. Granted there is chaos but that shooting doesn't seem justified at first glance, I will hold judgment till all evidence is presented. Yes she was not supposed to be there, yes she was breaking the law and she was a part of a mop, those things alone can justify that shooting but seems like the officer that pulled the trigger didn't have situational awareness.

As far as the cop crushed, it seemed several protester were crushed as well. Three others died from what appears to be the mayhem (one from a heart attack) not particularly from fighting. Heck isn't this a common occurrence at EU soccer events?

I have not heard that there was a congressman in the mob so that is a new one to me so i will look into that. I thought they were all in the room or already in their safe places. Do you know if he was trying to calm things down?

You can judge the policeman for shooting but know that no charges will ever be filed against him. It is really clear that no jury would find an officer guilty of protecting the capital building.
