Folks, there is no double standard in their minds. They deem our speech as violence and their violence as speech - at they really believe that. And that should scare all of you.

what does Cruz have to apologize for
he made a reasonable request based on a lot more evidence than any investigation / impeachment or Scotus confirmation had in the last 4 years
his request would not have interfered with the inauguration and he strongly condemned the assault on the Capital

i find it interesting that everyone on the right has denounced the violence and wants the perps prosecuted yet when the riots of the summer happened the left was less than willing to condemn as forcefully
the Hypocrisy isnt new ,its actually become very common place

There is no evidence of vote fraud and wrong doing which is why every case was tossed out of court, even SCOTUS. Cruz is an attorney and knows why that matters. Trump had his own vote fraud commission that disbanded because they found NOTHING. If Cruz and others want to have another commission or lengthy debates on voting go ahead, but that was no excuse to delay to count for Biden. If Cruz truly believed there was fraud then he would have to also admit the other candidates on those ballots were wrongly elected also.

The fact that your equating the two issues is your flaw. One was standing for civil rights and liberties the other a baseless election fraud accusation. People being killed and treated differently due to color of their skin, call me crazy that would and should cause more outrage.
You think if people of color were storming the capitol there wouldn't be many more already in shackles and/or dead.

Where was she when she was shot? If she was inside the Capital when she was shot wouldn’t that make her a terrorist? Or, are you saying she should have been hung instead? I know some say terrorists should be hung rather than shot. Trump, of course, signed an executive order a few months ago imposing a 10 year prison sentence for breaking into federal property. Now, if she was assaulting a officer - Trump would be the first to say deadly force was appropriate. You have seen the pictures of the police blocking the door to the House chamber with guns drawn - do you think they were kidding?

On the plus side for Trump - he will kill 30,000 more Americans before Jan 20.

Nice to see the clips of Trump family members dancing when terrorists were assaulting the Capital. Do you think Trump’s family will be dancing when the cop’s funeral is held?

there is evidence according to to the people who filed the lawsuits
you are confusing a court dismissing for standing or ruling on the case
the evidence, whatever it may be, has never been seen by any court, the courts wont let it get that far they dont want to have to decide- it is a bad deal but its actually their job, and if one of them would have actually done their job and reviewed the evidence and ruled on this it may have ended in NOV

i dont agree with your premise
subverting democracy, is what is being argued , that affects 350 million people in this country and because we are a world leader basically effects everyone in the world
your right to vote is a civil Right and certainly effects the liberty of the citizenry
the reasons for the outrage are different, both have value
i dont do hypotheticals, but you apparently think the cops would have acted differently

Wouldn't it be funny if his few remaining advisors got him to resign with him thinking Pence would pardon him, then Pence doesn't?! :) Lil Mickey has shown more of a backbone the last several days. He and his family was threatened with physical violence which tends to get people to rethink their convictions. He stands zero chance in 2024 if he pardoned Trump - that base of voters isn't big enough to win the office.
Come on Snowflake. You either don't read the WSJ editorial or haven't been keeping up with the real news. WSJ has been negative to Trump since 2015 and every day since. Trump has pounced on them for years. A complete non-factor.

No exactly. There are thousands of signed affidavits of potential fraud from poll workers and watchers. But let's say everyone of those is wrong, biased or fraudulent (even though it would be a crime). The problem republicans have with the 2020 vote, even before COVID, is they believe the constitution requires voting on 1 day. And that voting should require an ID, and an effort regardless of weather, war or even pandemics. So the loosening of rules for 2020 (which have some legitimate legal questions) especially those not past through state legislation really started the build the distrust of this election (pre election). Couple that with some strange statistical results and hence you have 39% of people (republicans, decorates and independents) that believe the election was rigged.

Take it to court snowflake. Oh wait, you have and LOST. If you want to have discussions about a national voter ID bill or such, go right ahead but as the other person said that has zero bearing on confirming Biden.

Right on cue - Trump started tweeting 16 hours after his gun-to-his-head speech last night. So much for learning his lesson. He won't attend Biden's inauguration. Big baby.
