Through Dec. 22, with fewer than 1 million doses of the #Covid vaccine given, @cdcgov's vaccine injury reporting system received 307 reports of ER visits and 17 "life threatening" events.
Per dose, that's roughly 50 times the rate of adverse events from the flu vaccine.
In 2019-2020, about 175 million flu vaccine doses were given. 1220 ER visits and 73 "life threatening" events were reported. The data is on the CDC VAERS Website.
Caveats: physicians et al may be more diligent about reporting #Covid vaccine events, since the vaccine is new.
Plus, the first Covid vaccine doses have mostly been given to healthy people in settings where problems can be quickly treated. These problems are occurring BEFORE the rollout to older, less healthy people - and before the 2nd dose, which is known to be far more dangerous.
And this merely confirms what the clinical trials showed (in general, though not always, clinical trials tend to UNDERSTATE real world problems and OVERSTATE efficacy, because any smart drug company will try to bias the trials in its favor).

If YOU'RE falling behind perhaps it's related to YOUR poor grasp of English.

CT home prices are up, some areas more so than others. Property taxes are a local decision. Many states are struggling financially right now because of Covid. When more accurate data is available on people moving in/moving out of the state (Uhaul is not that) it will probably look like the last few years - slight declines but not falling off a cliff, with the usual elderly moving at a faster rate to warmer climates.

Not the OP but there has been some significant movement due to Covid and there will continue to be post Covid. Many companies have already established long term work from home policies. They realized they can save significant cash on commercial property, minimize travel and expenses while improving productivity and their employee's work life balance. This will be a paradigm shift. In addition some companies are moving HQs to take advantage of better tax policies. Some smaller New York financial firms have already permanently moved to Florida, Texas, other low tax states while others are considering.

I definitely would not want to own much commercial office space right now. Many companies like yours and mine have already made plans to shrink the footprint pretty significantly. The other bonus (hopefully) better commutes when you do have to go into an office :) and a bit more balance in life - I've loved being able to walk the dog before dinner rather than be stuck in the car.

Some small areas have experienced temporary housing price increases from people fleeing for their lives from NYC. That is not a sustainable growth pattern.

How much must home values go up for the 15,000 jobs Raytheon cut this year?

Maybe your reading ability will allow for you to make it through these articles. Bigger question is can you comprehend them? You obviously don’t know what second order thinking is.

Out of 137 US counties with >500,000 residents, the top five currently worst-hit counties for CV are all in California. Additionally 8 of the top 12 are California.
It seems their NPI’s (mitigation strategies) were not effective.

Still showing mandates don’t work. Does not matter if they are extreme like California or more modest like Texas.

Did you check out Miami Dade. 14th on the list. Huge county. Lot of cases. Except like you point out, % of population is very very low even compared to California.

Florida is very very open and not leading by any means.

                        NPI’s don’t do anything.

Wearing a mask is the 2020 version of duck under your desk in school in 1975 in case of nuclear bomb. Just as effective.

California has a lower overall death toll than most states at less than 700 deaths per million people. New York and Connecticut have almost three times as many but they were hit early. North and South Dakota as well with 1700 deaths per million people. Since the average in the US is 1100 deaths per million you are doinggood if you are below that but Florida and Texas are inching closer everyday.

A population of 40 million makes that look better. Not to mention they are in the middle of their big wave. Deaths per million are rising quickly every day in CA. When you post 500 deaths a day, it will not take long. You don’t know much about mathematics do you.

not the poster but as yet another reminder it's rates per capita that matter in making comparisons, not totals

Per capita, CA rate of deaths is rising faster then any other state.
Who is to say that by March, they have not risen to be above the national average.
They will never get close to NJ, NY, CT, MA, or RI

You people miss the point. California has been locked down hard for 10 months and it has not changed anything in their favor. They have driven out over 1,000,000 residents in the process.
Virus does not care about curfew or dining or sports or school or mask. It spreads no matter what. If you would view it as being like the weather, you would be better off. You just need to ride it out. By trying to hide from it, we have drug it out over a longer period.
Do you complain to the Governor when they don’t stop the tornado?
You sound like the villagers hundreds of years ago. Why didn’t the King stop the hurricane? Why would he let us suffer through a hurricane when he can control it?
