Yes. They will blah, blah blah about the vaccine all the while being helped by it through all the people that get it and help control the transmission rate if the virus.

Same as they do with with measles and polio and on and on.

So here are the facts on the first 2 weeks of vaccine roll out. Scott Gottlieb (leans left but rather neutral) and Operation Warp Speed sources:

      1) 30-40 millions doses delivered in December. About 20 million stock piled for second doses. It may be possible that Modena vaccine can use half dose for 18-55 population and Pfizer vaccine has 6-7 doses per vial so actual delivered doses is more like 30-65million.
      2) Roll out of vaccine administration slowed by:
      a) Lack of demand in the healthcare worker population, particularly with LTC facility workers with less than 50% interest in the vaccines.
      b) Unnecessary rules imposed by CDC and some states like NY and CA imposing legal penalties if rules and priorities not followed (pure liberal stupidity)

      Solution:
      1) Open priority population now to those with most interest, the elderly. FL and TX already doing so.
      2) Deliver doses to CVS, WGS, Walmart to speed administration (happening now in FL and TX)
      3) Potentially administer first dose without stock piling second dose or timing second dose to recommended time (3-4weeks). This is more technically controversial but may not be necessary given the amount of vaccine already delivered.

As I said before if hospitals can't administer vaccine within 48 hours they should lose their turn and vaccine for their staff moved to other location.

Your first point is incorrect. They only delivered 13M, had ratcheted the forecast down to 20M and still couldn't meet that. When places don't get their promised doses they can't inoculate more people.

Why do you think CVS and Walgreens have the staff to inoculate all these people? They don't.

FL is a cluster phuk. An aunt and uncle of mine who are over 80 and in assisted living haven't been vaxd yet and no one at the state or county level or Walgreens or CVS can tell the facility when it will be. People who can drive and stay in line for hours are going all over the state to get it; there's no local residency requirements. FL shouldn’t have opened it up until all the communal living facilities got their first dose.

          Wrong, wrong and wrong.
          1) 13M is what MSM is telling you. OWS and Scott are closer to the information. Scott is on the board of Pfizer and knows the details.
          2) CVS, WM and WSG typically administer 100M to 160M does in typical flu season (within 3-5 month)
          3) Your one personal case in FL (if real) is just that a case. I can give you 20 other personal cases (LTFs) in FL that counter your 1.

How about here in CT. Still not doing LTC patients just health care workers?
Attention citizens! Your Dept. Of Pandemia salutes North Carolina for giving a full 99% of vaccines to people under 75! Congratulations for making sure the only people who might benefit are not. Attention citizens!

in houston if you lived in a high rise condo with asking prices of about 1 million dollars you have have been vaccinated already. Ghetto down the street no one has been vaccinated.

Considering in a good year only half the population gets the flu vaccine and many get it at their doctors offices (especially children who have a higher vaccination rate), not pharmacies, that makes your pharmacy administration figures pretty much BS. Clinics are run by temporary staffers because it makes zero business sense to keep them in otherwise. Pharmacists are working in stores and only give a few vaccines a day each, if that.

Not the poster but our many FL relatives and friends of appropriate age have struggled getting it so far. A few resorted to driving several counties away. That's ridiculous. You should only be able to get it in your area. Hopefully CT requires proof of residency so MA and NY residents don't game the system

Israel has already vaccinated 12% of its entire population

And? Texas is clear on having little regard for the low income residents suffering the brunt of the virus - why would they change that now?

You clearly haven't been to a CVS or WGS recently or are living under a rock. Just about everyone of them has a clinic staffed with heathcare professionals, 1500 nationwide with clinics to be exact. There are 3 within 5 minute drive from my location. And this doesn't include Walmart which are expanding and hospital clinics. Flu vaccines are not predominately administered in doctor's offices. Maybe 20 years ago.

very misleading quote again. How many Palestinian people have been vaccinated in Israel?

Unfortunately i have been to a cvs to get the flu vaccine.

First i went to one in a not so nice neighborhood near my work in a city. I had a computer appointment and followed all the protocols they set. After waiting more than 30 minutes past my selected time i find out the nurse/doctor doing the shots did not show up that day.

Rescheduled an appointment near my nice suburbia home. In and out in 20 minutes.
