And the fact that trump added 8-9 trillion to the national debt may come into play just a little bit. Sure half that is from corona and I wouldn’t blame Trump for that but still. It doesn’t matter if Santa Claus is the next president taxes are going up. You can’t continue to give out trillions with no repercussions.

The liberal mind at work: Let's give more citizens the opportunity to achieve - not a hand out but a more level playing field like equal access to a quality education and decent paying jobs and affordable healthcare. A rising tide lifts all boats.

Conservative mind at work: We are doing better now and the next goal is to take even more for ourselves, screw the rest. Greed. I don't care about improving society. I-can't get-enough-ism.

We'll all be paying for Trump's presidency.

            Ned,
This is what leadership looks like.
100 LTC facilities in South Florida have already completed their vaccinations

Ned used less then 10% of what the state received last week.

Germany now has more daily deaths per capita than the US during the spring peak and will probably surpass our current levels soon. I thought this was supposed to be easy.

The rich dont go anywhere. They stay here because this is the best country in the world. I say let them leave and then new people will take there place and they will lose all of their money.

Need to close these tax haven loop holes and arrest the money launderers.

While true right now, it may change.
As average office jobs are becoming remote those employees realize they can live anywhere and work remote. Most of them think in terms of, I can live in another state. But in 20 years my children may say I can live in another country. Why stay?

A smart country will start to market itself to these people. It may begin with good weather or the ocean or mountains but soon they will have the infrastructures to offer a comparable life to the US. Maybe even better.

The way this country is going, I too may choose to leave it.

CDC provided an update to their co-causes for Covid deaths. Has been 704 falls classified as covid deaths.

                        Here's some other doozies:

Struck by thrown, projected or falling object - 1 death
Sequelae of war ops - 2 deaths
                        Victim of lightning 1 death

There's wealthy and then there's a whole other level. The latter group can afford multiple homes and jet travel and an army of tax attorneys and accountants. They can hire quality managers to run their businesses. A guy who has done well with his own small company isn't at the same level.

Living abroad is not for everyone. I've done it twice. It was an amazing experience personally and professionally, but I wouldn't do it permanently. It's hard being far from family, depending on the country there can be health care issues, schools etc. There are ways to persevere your money without having to resort to leaving.

Oh yes we will, paying for that second home and new car and a couple of other family treats. Thank you Trump!

Whew -- covid is all gone. Great job President Trump. Zero new cases. Zero deaths.

Or -- reality -- 201,674 new cases yesterday. 3.239 deaths. Not a record, but still a number that is far in excess of 9/11 or Pearl Harbor, so we are going to need yet another new national holiday, and yet another national monument put up somewhere.

Hey -- give him credit: President Trump had to come up with some story to try and move the news from the continuing growing covid death count and the epic holiday food lines, and the disaster that is retail this holiday season. So, the idea that the $600 per person figure was way to low and that he will veto the relief bill is a hit. Sure, the $600 number is absurdly low, but even still; that must have been fun from Mnuchin. "President Trump will approve this deal." And, then to learn that President Trump had already filmed a statement saying the deal sucks, and must be radically changed to $2000 per person or he will veto. I wonder what Mnuchin and the Republican Senators are doing this morning? Think they are extolling President Trumps leadership? The Democrats are in. Pelosi has already said they will make it happen in the House this week.

He totally t-boned Congress on that, not even his staff knew he was thinking about it. Where was he the last several weeks when Congress was trying to hammer out a deal? And if we're "rounding the corner" why do people need so much more? Either he

                                1) just wants to make lives miserable for Congress (they were supposed to leave for break today) and doesn't even care if there's a shutdown
                                2) doesn't care about Americans because the delays will crush millions
                                3) doesn't care about the deficit (duh, that's obvious)
                                4) wants to go out with a bang with his name on the checks, his ego is just that big
                                5) various combinations of the above
