Oh yeah and the 23 million people have also proactively been wearing face masks, even before they were required to do so. Would you look at that, all with no lockdowns.
Pre-existing resistance / immunity from SARS & similar coronavirus.
They have nothing magical about their NPI’s from the government.
Virus gonna virus.
Your belief in hubris is the kind of arrogance the MSM screams daily.
Government is God and can control a virus with a pen.

Taiwan said - been there done that. We are going to treat this as a serious issue and get citizens involved so we don’t have a big pandemic. Trump said - like magic it will disappear. You don’t need to wear masks. Let’s have big crowd events. Taiwan has 750 cases and 7 deaths. Trump following Florida with 300 times the geographic size and 2 million fewer people has 1,200,000 cases and 19,600 deaths.
Even Trump could figure out that he screwed the pooch looking at those numbers. But, theFlorida Governor is on it. Heck, he has made a future millionaire out of a former employee just because he decided to raid her home and have cops point guns at her kids. Oops. And, for what might you ask? Well, the allegation is that she sent an email on a message system back on November 10, which said (paraphrasing); 17,000 have died. Speak up so 17,000 more don’t die. I, for one, think the Florida cops should have just laughed and laughed in the face (okay over the phone in this time of covid) at anyone who said “let’s raid her home with guns drawn and confiscate her computer”. But, then, I am not one to want to give someone national exposure and a multi- million dollar claim that even Rudy Giuliano would want to pursue.

South Carolina announced that it had its highest number of new cases of Covid-19 on Friday.
“One week ago, today, South Carolina announced its highest number of new cases of Covid-19. Today, we eclipse that number by more than 700,” South Carolina’s Department of Health and Environmental Control wrote in a news release on Friday afternoon.
South Carolina announced a total of 3,217 confirmed and probable cases of Covid-19 on Friday and 47 additional deaths, bringing the statewide total to 4,673 deaths and 245,200 cases.
“South Carolina, like many other states, is currently experiencing a worsening of this pandemic,” said Dr. Brannon Traxler, DHEC Interim Public Health Director. “While the arriving vaccine is the light at the end of the tunnel, it will be months before there is enough vaccine available for everyone. It is incumbent upon all of us to continue to take actions aimed at saving lives.”
South Carolina health officials are urging residents to do their part to help take the recommended actions and precautions to slow the spread.
“No one else should have to die at the hands of this silent killer,” said Dr. Linda Bell, state epidemiologist. “It is within all of our powers to stop Covid-19. As we each wait patiently for our turn to receive the Covid-19 vaccines, let’s keep doing our part by wearing our masks and practicing social distancing

Another new record for Trump. More than 3,300 people died from covid yesterday. He is so proud. Trump spent, well, seconds yesterday working on defeating covid. Whole seconds, when he could spare the time of course. Sure, the new record number of people testing positive was also good news for Trump. That will mean he might be able to hit 4,000 dead in a single day before New Year. 500,000 is still a long reach for Trump, but if he works hard doing nothing then it is still within his inability.

There are more than 50,000 names on the Vietnam War Memorial. Trump’s stupidity and ineptitude means that there will be more Americans dying from covid-19 between Thanksgiving and Christmas than are listed on that wall.
