Compare and contrast Boris Johnson with DJT. Neither took Covid seriously and thought letting it rip through their countries might be the way to go. Then Johnson got very sick, as did his then pregnant partner. Once he recovered Johnson behaved very differently - listened to public health experts and the UK got Covid fairly tamed through the summer. Now it's coming back the UK is taking active measures again, and despite lots of complaining Johnson is standing firm on limited social gatherings, early pub closures etc. Trump got covid and still pretends it's no big deal. He wants everything open. He still thinks "herd immunity" by letting everyone get it is the way to go.
