To me it sounds likes more are being quarantined because of their outside of school exposure (ECs and sports) . School isn't going to be the only place kids are exposed to one another

Stories like that make my athlete nervous - they said dealing with school closing for a little while is fine (they're all used to it) but what happens with sports teams is the issue. Just please - if you believe in the bearded white guy in the sky - let the players get in a "Season." The kids NEED it!

Too many kids/parents want to have their cake and eat it too. Too many kids are going about their personal lives as if there's no virus to worry about. House parties (kids & parents), sleepovers, no masks, etc. Parents are condoning this behavior along the way.

probably the stupidest thing I have read here in a long time - and there is plenty to choose from. The issue isn't the kids dying - which is tragic when it happens, it is that the kids bring it home. Look at the Maine wedding and all the people that died that didnt attend the wedding but were murdered by the idiots that did and that criminal couple. Stop looking at kids statistics, they are carriers that unknowingly bring it home. Imagine being the kid that is responsible for their grandma's death because he or she wined enough to have mom sign her up for town soccer.
