There's a solution for that. It's called GAL. Or your player can train on their own. Betchya they want to play though, don't they? Isn't it their bull**** to deal with? Show up to the games and cheer your kids team on. That is all.

Club has been playing and scrimmaging all summer, yet HS can’t do more than 10 until mid September and can’t play games until October. My kid plays HS soccer and ECNL- at this point given the crappy season and HS training I’d be better off doing club.

There is no downside to CIAC decision. They hedged every bet and can blame others for any issues that arise. Indoor classrooms is where transmission will be highest. More than two weeks from start of school so initial spread will be observed.

They'll get two games in and it will be over, partly becasue case spread can take some time to appear and build. Better start your "season" with senior night.
