Danbury to start school all online.

Guess that means no HS sports.

Why will you not tell the whole story? I guess you like fear mongering.

            Today's COVID-19 update in Connecticut (from Fri-Sun):

➡️55,317 tests administered; 492 came back positive
            ➡️This is a 0.89% positivity rate
➡️57 patients are hospitalized (increase of 3)
➡️There have been no COVID-related deaths

55,317 test in 3 days, that is a weeks worth.

This is with all that college student testing. No jump in %.
Same as it has been for months.

Players spreading it or parents? My money is on the dumb parents. I've driven by several youth sports events and don't see many masked parents.
Plus it sounds like people coming home from hot state vacations.

This is why we can't have nice things

Numbers are so low here, who cares.

Are you sure the college students go into this number? If so, then it’s a very good sign. If that many college students are tested and the positivity rate is below 1%, that’s excellent

I can’t swear to it but that is what Ned said in update today. He does not always tell the truth.
These testing numbers are much higher then we have seen.
I doubt they continue this high especially given CDC has changed guidelines again for testing.

Fastest man alive couldn’t out run corona......party on bro!

Bolt said he took the test on Saturday, the day after he celebrated his birthday at a bash where partygoers danced to the hit “Lockdown” by Jamaican reggae singer Koffee.

“Best birthday ever,” Bolt, who retired from athletics in 2017, wrote on Instagram

Hope the party was worth it!

The DPH put forward their "recommendations" but everyone knows none of the decisions are optional and the CIAC has lost all its power going forward.

different poster and I saw that segment also - it was a brief bit on Danbury as part of a larger segment. No evidence provided about youth sports, just a comment

Thank the DEMS for continuing to shut the state down.

The DPH clearly knows nothing about sports. Two of the more prominent recommendations from the DPH:

                                1) HS football should move to a 7v7 format with no line and no tackling.

                                2) Girls Volleyball should move to be played outdoors.

Are you fûcking kidding me? Specifically with the volleyball recommendation. Please show me all of the outdoor volleyball courts that exist. Are they suggesting these girls play in modified HS parking lots? On outdoor concrete basketball courts in town? This one makes zero sense to me. What are they talking about?
