Meanwhile, posters may have missed the New Have did cancel fall sports last Friday. https://www.nhregister.com/news/arti...s-15484501.php
Cities with greater population density and more people of color (who have much greater negative outcomes) have good reason to be concerned. No doubt finances play a role as well.
Kids will be protesting at CIAC today. They're meeting with the Board of Health this afternoon. I hope they announced before the weekend. Stop torturing kids and coaches and pull the trigger, one way or the other.

Darien , New Canaan have been 2 of the best football teams in this state for the last 10 years
they are also among the wealthiest

I find it disturbing that schools with their resources and connection to professionals are stopping sports but town run leagues are still on. You are leaving the health of our communities to volunteers with no resources. Kudos to Danbury. If CIAC decides to postpone sports, the governor better follow suit for youth sports throughout the state.
In our district, they are chomping at the bit to get a u19 league going. Already planning in anticipation of CIAC decision. Disgusting that their good intentions are based in wanting to give kids a place to play while putting everybody in danger.

Schools could also do similar - move the higher risk ones and keep the rest - but man those football supporters are loud, at least they are in our town. "Unfair!"
