Yet most also have some of the best education systems in the country, better health outcomes, lower rates of poverty etc, better paying jobs overall. Current unemployment rates are higher in many of those states because of stronger Covid restrictions. HI and NV are high because no one wants to travel. They're not necessarily long term job losses. CT's rate is only slightly higher than the national average.

We need to impose term limits on congress as a way to reduce corporate influence.
PAC with corporate money buy politicians. With term limits we can have turn over in congress which may help reduce the corporate influence.
At least no life long paid for politicians.
Of course they have no morals so they will sell themselves to the other side for just $1 more.
