Also, just because they wore masks outside the home doesn't mean they couldn't have gotten it from inside the home from another infected family member (which is a big source of transmission). The study was also done where there was "modest" transmission rates. Right now Denmark has a mask mandate because cases are going up there and across the EU.

This RCT matches exactly every other RCT on Flu. Mask are ineffective. They do not provide any meaningful protection.
Here is the bigger issue with this RCT. They don’t look at the negative aspects of wearing a mask. EVERY action has consequences. Do the consequences of mask wearing outweigh the benefits?
Given the benefits are mathematically insignificant I must conclude any negative effect of mask wearing would therefore be to much to warrant mask mandates.

3 million die worldwide from alcohol every year.
3 million will NOT die this year from CV or any year after.
So why are old people dying with CV such a issue.
